Richard Thompson Hots for the Smarts

Richard Thompson is mostly known for his dramatic, tragic, and deep lyrics. However, he also has a sharp wit and flair for the ironic. In this clip, he talks about working humor into his concerts and performs "Hots for the Smarts" ... a witty little ditty.
