- Had a bunch of people ask how i did this on my instagram so here is a quick video! Any "clear plastic polish" will work!
For those wondering, the Mt07 dash is black because of the LCD flip from ColorClusterz!

Thanks man, it worked perfect. I used mothers plastic cleaner, but it also worked like a charm on a Kawasaki z900 screen.

My man you’re a life saver ! Do you have any tricks on how to remove scratches from the paint ? I was so dumb once I used a sponge to wash my bike and it has been scratched since then 😢

You don't need "clear plastic polish". You don't even need "plastic polish". Any fine car polish (2000+ grit) will be more than adequate. The cloth that you use is even more important than the polish.
I bought foam pads on Amazon for doing this on my 2021 mt 09. The black foam pad is a finisher and the yellow which is the second harder. It also comes microfiber pad. Can you guide me on which one to apply the polish. Don’t want to scratch it more.
I’d try the finisher pad first and see the results. If you don’t like them then use the harder one first. Then the finisher after.

I followed the tutorial to the letter with the newly purchased microfiber cloth (it is advertised as 100% microfiber) and with a clear plastic polish from the same brand but it is called 'PlasticX' and the truth is that it didn't work for me.
In fact, I think I now have quite a few more micro-scratches on the screen of my bike (it's also a Yamaha MT) than before....
I've done the same thing of spreading it around and making circles by squeezing the screen and switching to cleaner areas to remove the excess, but nothing, it seems to have even gotten worse....
What can I do to get your same result as the end of the video without using that circular sponge? I only have the microfiber cloth?

When you do it, rub it in circularly with the microfiber then once you start seeing the compound disappear, stop and wipe it off in just straight strokes. I've noticed if you work the compound too much and it absorbs into the cloth leaving nothing left you'll end up scratching the screen again in the final passes. Kinda have to just work at it, not let it fully absorb into the cloth and then wipe it off in 1 motion.
