@@dejan9005 I do, very well. After he won the world title had was unable to defend it. Plus, his boxing style was not popular outside his country. Same with Marijan Benes.
@@samkitty5894 different times. Mate was one of the first boxers that broke through and was given a chance to even compete for a world title, beating Cuellho. Also his amateur career was impecable, and he won gold in Munich, meanwhile although Hrgovic had a great career as an amateur aswell winning gold in the World Championships, he fell short in the Olympics, hence his boxing style translates better in the pros. Still I wouldn't say that cards are stacked against him. Most experts, pundits and fans have him as a favourite vs Dubois who is a top 10 heavyweight currently. Also he has been through sparrings and training camps with some of the best boxers over the past years. And also to mention that IBF will strip Usyk off of his undisputed crown, just 2 weeks after unifying the belts partly because of Hrgovic. Therefore I think it's disingenuous to say that he is overlooked or he is not given a fair shake.
@@dejan9005 Whether someone did well in Olympics or amateur world championships doesn't always translate well if they continue boxing professionally. And vice versa. Many great boxers had insignificant amateur career. But some did great, both ways, like Ali, Foreman, Frasier, Wilder, Klitschko brothers, Joshua...etc.
Be that as it may, professional boxing was always a very shady sport...primary goal being making money for those involved. Money is made selling tickets and getting attention...any kind of attention, good or bad. People want to be entertained...they love boxers like Mike Tyson for his knock out artistry, Ali for his showmanship and great boxing skills, Wilder for his knockouts, etc... Hrgovic is none of that. Many people have never heard of him...he's a good orthodox boxer, and as such not very interesting. He lives a clean life...he draws no attention to himself, and he is from Croatia, country 90% of people never heard of or are unable to locate on world map.
I wish with all my heart that Hrgovic gets far, and makes Croatia common name in the boxing world.

Unless Fury was gonna give up IBF straight away it would never be on the line. Usyk has just fought and has 28 days or whatever to sort fight but Hergovic couldnt fight him anyway as he has a fight himself. If rematch happens then yes but so far its only been Frank saying rematch is on in hope Daniel can get the title.

Hrgovic hasnt got alot between the ears, but he is a good fighter. His only deficit is his lack of motivation. I dont think he has the guts when things get really down and dirty and hes tired, and or beat up, I think he will quit, although in this fight I think it might be Dubois who quits.
