Could've used the original one as an intro showing how creepy and eery it is that their regrets created a shadow of Makoto. While keeping the new one as the cutscene when you beat him which shows a more somber and heartfelt send off.
9:01 That was sneaky. Lol *I'd like to add that there's a like and subscribe text stealthily showing up at time in the video imo. This is still a good video tho.
Personally, IDK what angle the developers were going for in the original showing Makoto disintegrating very graphically system by system. Was it meant to show the rawness of the separation? But admittedly bewilderment rather than an emotional reaction was what it caused in me although I liked the ending of the scene where the memory of him flashed as if to remind everyone of whom they lost. Wish that was included in the remake but the remake at least more straightforwardly shows that the point of the scene was to show longing and sadness.
Looks like Atlus made that cutscene: ❌️ Traumatising ✅️ Emotional Although the FES version is interesting, I prefer the Reload version as it looks beautiful...
FINALLY. I swear everyone else is “OH THERES NO GRUESOME SHIT SO IT SUCKS” and then there’s, like, a few people who actually appreciate the cutscene. I feel validated.
Honestly, I much prefer this version. The original had no reason to be as horrific as it was beyond shock factor. It was just scary for the sake of being scary. It helps that here they're focusing much more on the characters' reactions to it. I also like how he just closes his eyes before completely fading as if he's saying "This is how it should be".
You know this part really reminds me of kingdom hearts like how you fight anti sora at the end of kingdom hearts dreams drop distance both sora and makoto dies in the end with a unique situation
@@Archon3960 and what does that have to do with anything I was simply pointing out the cutscene was nothing like the original so the OP’s claim that they’re exactly the same makes no sense.
Technically speaking they did help create the monster , Also are responsible for his death instead of being helpful throughout the whole game they just blame him, sometimes mistreat him inhuman ways , always giving up like this was the best that makoto could ever achieved that’s why the bonds were important in persona 5 imagine if p5 cast were like these joker wouldn’t have been freed from the prison while the makoto sort of helped him these people never actually helped him heck even Yukari who “defends” never did anything to help. It was better that he died actually because these characters were sort of ungrateful towards him and even if they had feelings for him that really helped him to appreciate life and I think that’s why his end hurts me so much.
I always felt the original scene was kind of a big lipped alligator moment. I mean, no other shadow died the way this one did in FES. It was downright Killer7-esque. It does feel weird that there's no shock value to it this time, but it makes more sense... Considering nobody in the original was like "That was gross, yikes." After watching their friend disintegrate.
And one more thing ryuji was way better than Junpei like ryuji really did felt like a best friend while this guy never felt like that to me in fact because of how much I disliked him I barely hung out with him not only that but the way he acts makes him the most unstable guy out of the bunch and he barely had any tragic moments unlike everyone else who had went through horrible moments
They figured Makoto desintegrating and losing his skin was way too traumatizing
They shoulda figured its pissed alot of us off bcuz that was iconic.
I kinda liked how creepy the original was, but i like how more emotional this one is
Original: Pain of Nightmare Fuel
Remake: Pain of Emotional Hurt

What it loses in nightmare fuel, it gains in the tear-jerker territory.
Can't wait for TV Tropes to write that one out. XD
i mean it was gross AF and also confusing to see Minato turn into organs and letters then butterflies

aww man. they changed it. that was the best part about the answer.
What specifically did they change

Would’ve been funny if shadow Minato used Castor during their fight. Would’ve loved to see Ken’s and Akihiko’s reaction.

Bro I need to find out that song we’re makoto is disappearing

The dead man.
Might as well spoil myself.... Thanks 😂😂😂
Are you fucking with me? Come on ATLUS lmao.
the orginal one is way to gory for todays standards probbaly
I like the reload ver better imo

Yup. And they made them _better._ 8/
