Not necessarily, in my opinion monogamy is a heteronormative way of being, and that’s fine for some LGBT people but always for others. Being gay is freedom from those restrictive norms and while that might not sit well with some, it’s freedom of choice.
@@Nii1978 it's not heteronormative. Straights swing whatever way too. Lots of hetero men cheat or do whatever but their girls stay. And there are poly couples in the hetero community black included.
@@DDominoGeronimo I guess that’s the point: it doesn’t work and and gay people by and large recognise this. It’s a model that is based on a heteronormative way of being; marry, have kids and live a life of family devotion to one partner. If it works for some, that’s fine, but we as gay men are free from those constraints and that’s a great thing about being gay.
