    I'm 56 and from Australia. Back in the 90s nobody would tell you anything. The only things you could find were books from David vizard and a few others. It was all kept secret. We are blessed to have you and others on RUclips giving up the results of your hard work. I still play around with performance engine but not as much as I used too. Damn I wish I had access to all this information back in the day.

      Everytime I see Aussie power posted to us in America, on stuff like Facebook, I'll see some dumb comment from somebody that doesn't know anything about how things work, I always comment back that Aussie builders don't give Fuck what Americans think. I'm big fan of the lion hearts out there. Very true a lot of info was kept under wraps in the 90s. Because of all those egos. Now we have to realize, we are all on the same side.... When they are trying to legislate classic cars and internal combustion engines out of existence. California and Gavin newsome, we need to preserve our hobby and craft for next generations to pass on the torch. Pass on the knowledge or we are done

    • @deanmoser5907
      @deanmoser5907 6 дней назад

      @georgesviderski2469 It was the Aussie builders that were tight lipped protecting their own I guess as there was no internet. Look at were we have come with companies like CHI, Higgins and Yella Terra just to name a few..
      There isn't too many secrets anymore but the car scene here isn't what it was, road rules are extremely tight and getting tighter every year and we have few dragstrips to use.

    I’ve learned many trade lessons from your efforts and the feed back you have taken time out to share with us in our many comments.
    I think most importantly is the fact that you have shared your personal experiences in life with us. They have help put many of my own experiences in perspective maybe more so than the trades information. We have all suffered and sometimes it gets us in a rut that seems impossible to get out of.

    I'm huge supporter and David vizard... I think it's partly to his toes with UK. Some big things I've noticed about my journey, I started in tool and die , tenth grade machine trades included. I've read every car craft and hot rod magazine I could get my hands on, what I've noticed that the editors and writers of the magazine literature are only so smart. I think David Vizard put my beliefs on it's ear. A real eye opener. I'm so thankful for the angles that Brian Salter, Powell machine and Vizard pass onto the viewers.
    It's really college coursework.
    I also want to plug in the motorcycle angle that I've delved into, that helped my automotive knowledge. Triumph motorcycle racing has helped my big block Chevy projects immensely. I want to thank Jaye Strait of Britech New England for his many years of help and guidance. Engineering is the key to everything.

The one thing I have asked a few people in casual conversation is setting the timing for first start up of an mag sensor ignition. Nobody explained the way the ignition fired with that sensor, you did. One of the Ls3 aftermarket heads, they use a 2.08 valve instead of 2.165. And they make awesome power. Smaller valves are not a bad thing.

    all channels I watch and subscribe to also! Just a suggestion as a viewer, check and see if your shorter length videos are getting more views, I noticed you been doing longer videos and maybe they are getting skipped over because of the time commitment for some viewers.

    Hi Brian. I enjoy your channel and the info you provide. ( That's FREE info everyone ) This is just my 2 cents on views, possibly try to keep them a bit shorter, not all of them but some are a bit long and that's not a bad thing but the average viewer's attention span is short. Also as a viewer you have to dedicate an hour for some of the videos and at the moment you're checking things out you might not have that much time. I hope this feed back helps and if you don't change anything I will always keep watching and learning. Thank you Andrew

      I’ve sat and watched 3 hour videos before because the information was that good. I feel like if a person’s attention span is that short they’re not that interested in learning anyway.

      @@ronberkshire668 Hi You are correct, if you want to learn you will dedicate the time. I was just trying to help with the number of views. Just my thought on why (as he said) the number of views has dropped. I hope we both keep learning. Andrew

      @@andrewburlock2653 No problem. I understand where you’re coming from. Just saying when the content is good I’m fine with long videos. Brian’s videos are packed with excellent info that’s sometimes hard to find elsewhere. I agree we should all keep watching and learning.
