This is exactly what I need to do to a drybrook. I know I will have a lot of work clearling many years of overgrown brush and some trees, but this video absolutely convinced me that the machine will handle the downhill and uneven terrain. Very good video, and thanks for posting it.

Oh good, glad it helped. It works your core on uneven terrain haha, but I've yet to feel like it was going to tip or anything. I've taken this thing places I'd never try to bring a tractor one.

drying up land and diverting water is one of the most satisfying things there is

I have such an excavator. The disadvantage is that the wheels and the support feet are attached at a 45 degree angle. It can be difficult to load onto a trailer. If the wheels were not inserted at an angle but at a 90 degree angle, the width could be varied better. The cylinder under the excavator is also a nuisance, it should be on top. But the excavator is very solidly built and works well.

been researching tons on this, mini exs etc ... to me this video shows where i think the true application is for a machine like this. You can't use a shovel to do all that work ... to me the only other option is an excavator with swamp mats .. but then you are looking at bigger expense, and it wouldnt be as nimble, and possibly wouldn't even be able to operate like this. To me this is the exact type of environment this machine shines.

I couldn't agree more, some of the places I crawl this to I would struggle to get a bigger machine in there.

balloon tires on the back make it easier to move in swap areas,I have a YTL but its the same except the bucket and its red.,i like that bucket looks much easier to trench with?

Where did you get that bucket for the MB300?

Nice work. Sure makes a difference with the ground being drier. Amazing how the digger will move over the rough terrain. Did you ever get stuck?

Thanks! No so far I've been able to crawl my way out of anywhere. I have to move bigger branches out of the way though, I can get over them but I've popped my tire off before doing it.

@@noname-rv7yh on the JansenUSA website it's called the MB 300 Trench Bucket. It's right under accessories.
