I had to search this out to hear more clearly how INSANE Kevin's beatboxing is! The studio version has some layering but this is just one phenomenal human!
yeah you can watch it and see they aren't singing live. watch the bed curtain behind every person its in a different spot meaning they stopped filming between them like it was a music video where its lip synced i am sure they did this for the last one too. its kind of disappointing because we've come to expect more from them.

But as far as I can tell it was sung live for each person (meaning they didn't just lip sync off their part of the album track). Quite impressive that they were able to make it look and sound great 🥰

Haven't seen hundreds of their live streams, haven't been following them on social media, haven't been reading Kirstie's blog, haven't been watching their interviews, haven't seen their insta stories, Mitch's patreon podcast, their friends' and collegues' blogs, etc. They are way closer to each other now than ever before. Kirstie and Ben are always welcomed in Scott and Mark's house and vise versa. Kevin and Leigh, Matt and Sarah. They all support each other's side projects PASSIONATELY. They celebrate holidays together, they play video games together, they create together, play with each other's pets, etc. They managed to make At Home EP during the pandemic on their own, educating each other as they were doing it. Mitch and Scott are still very close, even though they've bought their separate houses. Their new original album came out a few weeks ago, they've been working hard on it for the last 2 years, and the result is incredible! As Kevin pointed out, they’ve been through thick and thin together, they grew up together, they consider each other family. They are celebrating 10 years together this year. The atmosphere in the band is way way healthier and way more positive than in was 4 years ago.

The best and worst thing about ptx is you have to listen to it 6 times for the best experience. 1 for the full company and 1 to focus and obsess about each one 😅

They don't usually pay attention to any other music video's we put on the TV with active band members or static pictures at all, so it seems to just be Pentatonix that fascinates them. :)

I genuinely feel like a grew up with them. While I wasn't there in 2011, I have a memory of them singing on The Queen Latifah show in 2012????? (Don't quote me on that) and I thought Scott and Kirstie were dating at the time lol. Skip a couple years and I officially became a Pentaholic in 2014. I was a freshman in high school when I became a fan. Now I'm 21 and they've grown so much, their sound has grown we've seen many doors opened for them, seen them win Grammys, perform with many musical legends, put out amazing songs, we've seen Kevin and Kirstie release EPs that were amazing, we've seen Superfruit take off and they released amazing music, we've said goodbye to Avi while also saying Hello to Matt, who is a great addition to the group. We've seen Kevin get married and have a beautiful daughter. Everyone making memories with each other and with us. I don't regret a single moment loving this group. They deserve so much and I love them so much. It's been 10 incredible years that they've been together and I hope to see 10 more 💛💛💛💛
