The thing about EastEnders is that they can take an idea that sounds totally ridiculous and make it completely believable, and they do it to perfection time and time again. Thank you for bringing back, Cindy and doing it with style, also, it was a lovely touch seeing Fatboy. Well done to all involved… best soap on TV ♥

It was incredible the way they did the flashback. Seeing Cindy watching Ian about to tell Peter, Fatboy at the car and the sound of Peter's horrifying scream. Well done EastEnders 👏🏻

The last week and this week has felt like Eastenders again for the first time in a while.
Lol he said “if you go now I’m not ever gonna take you back”, was she like okay and left instantly lmao 😅
I know the storyline is ridiculous but i have to say I'm really happy Queen Cindy has returned Michelle Collins is absolutely delivering guys back home where she belongs in the right Soap this time, i must say Brillant Move from Kate Oates and Chris Clenshaw here.

I was blown away by that episode! I didn’t think they could top the flash forward back in February but the way they tied everything back to Lucy’s murder in 2014 was incredible! Bravo!

I love Chris Clenshaw for this. I was thinking that they ought to make flash backs like this. they should've done something like this when Ruby returned in 2018, but fear not there is still time if Louisa Lytton is heading back. this can lead to a shocking storyline that will no doubt change your perspective on the character.
Flashbacks like this, adding to what they accomplished with the mitchells flashback. we would get to see the whole atmosphere of the allens before the housefire, when they were a family again.
If Louisa Lytton ever returns to EastEnders please, please make this happen EastEnders you will not be disappointed and I promise most even some who haven't seen the show for years will be tuning in to watch it again because the allens have so much potential next to The Mitchells.

I wish we had flashbacks or memories from a character's past that we never seen before they came to Walford like The Allen's housefire - A flashback from Ruby's past - witnessing her and sister, mother trapped in the fire. maybe even get a moment where they said their goodbyes...before Johnny saved Ruby. maybe at the very end we see a scene that Ruby's sister Scarlet had manage to escape the fire. that can be a storyline for Ruby when she ever returns.
I imagine how it may start off. Ruby returns to Walford we have an episode only involving Ruby at night when she lays in her bed and closes her eyes that is when the flashback starts with a younger Ruby playing with her sister Scarlet in their room we see a young version of Johnny Allen and their mother Stephanie. while Ruby and Scarlet play together they hear their parents shouting from down stairs. Scarlet tells Ruby that this is how marriage is sometimes and not to dwell on it.
Later on in the evening The Allen's sit around the table having dinner. Ruby looks at Scarlet and Scarlet looks back. Johnny ask his daughters how they are but Ruby answers back with "okay" Johnny responds in a controlling way "just okay? is that all i get from you." Scarlet "dad stop" Stephanie "is everything alright Ruby?" Ruby get up and replies back "I hate you two for fighting all the time!" and leaves. Scarlet goes after her but before leaving the room she tells her dad "I love you dad but why can't we just be a normal family" Stephanie looks at Johnny with disappointment and Johnny looks back at her. Johnny "I put a roof over their heads and this is how they talk to me" Stephanie explains to Johnny that his work isn't exactly normal and has begged him to safeguard their family. Stephanie "you can't expect us to carry on living with all this over our heads. you need to put the girls first. Johnny I am terrified that one day your actions will have huge consequences. I cannot stand by and wait for that day to come it's us or them" Stephanie leaves the table. Ruby is crying in her room while Scarlet gives her a big hug. Stephanie opens the door and talks to them. Scarlet "mum he needs to change. I can't go on like this I'm scared. a man followed me when I was coming home and gave me this" Scarlet gives Stephanie a note the note was a threat to Johnny. Stephanie "I will sort this out". later that night Johnny comes into the room. Stephanie was laying in bed. Johnny apologised for how dinner went. Stephanie gave him Scarlet's note. Johnny looked at Stephanie and reassured her that he will change his ways for now on. a few hours later Johnny receives a message on his phone and goes outside to make a call. Ruby is woken up by Johnny and looks out of her bedroom window to see Johnny talking to someone on the phone. Ruby goes down stairs and outside to hear the conversation. Johnny gets heated up with the caller. Ruby gets closer to Johnny and over hears the caller planning on killing Johnny's family. Ruby is shocked and the call ends. Johnny turns around to see Ruby. Ruby isn't happy with Johnny and starts telling him what an awful dad he is. Johnny decides to take Ruby back to boarding school but theysee smoke coming out of the house. Ruby shouts for her sister and mother but no reply. she manages to get into the house and rush upstairs but the fire gets worse on the staircase. she starts to choke on the fumes and hears her mother and sister calling her name. Johnny cannot get back into the house to save his family. Ruby watches her Scartet and her mother on the over side of the room surrounded by fire Ruby cries out while Scarlet is in her mother's arms. Stephanie shouts at Ruby to save herself. Stephanie and Scarlet crying and feeling hopeless they both say their goodbyes to Ruby. that is the last time Ruby ever saw her mum and sister again. when Johnny manages to get in the house he holds Ruby back and gets her out of the house. Ruby cries on the floor after hitting Johnny to let her go and is taken to hospital. meanwhile Stephanie manages to save Scarlet. Scarlet escapes the housefire aftwerwards and calls out for Ruby but cannot see her. she then carries on walking down away from the fire into a distance and the episode ends.
20 years later... Ruby receives and knock at the door...
Scarlet explains what happened after the fire that she was incontact with Johnny but he told her that Ruby died. he put Scarlet into protection because people he went against wanted her dead. Ruby sat down with Scarlet and explained to her that Johnny told her Ruby died in the fire. they both came to realise Johnny lied to both of them. Ruby asked Scarlet what happened. Scarlet mentions their mother saved her from the fire by smashing a window and getting Scarlet down. 'next thing I know I was walking down a road that seemed forever when a car pitched up. they took me to a unit where I was institutionalised. when I left I made a life of my own...' Ruby takes Scarlet to the night club she explained to Scarlet that this place was in her name once when Jonny was alive then she took over it. Stacey comes into Peggy's and starts mouthing off to Ruby "I heard you were back and who is this?" Ruby smirks "this is Scarlet my sister" Stacey goes in shock mode "you mean? ohh..." Scarlet "hello" Stacey "so you're alive then" Scarlet looks at Ruby and then back at Stacey "that's right. you must be Stacey Ruby filled me in about you" Stacey "bad things" Scarlet "no. how you took Ruby in when she was struggling. we all knew what Johnny could be like" Stacey nods her head. Ruby rolls her eyes. Scarlet "join us if you like"
Why would they need to do a flash back/ flash forward of ruby?
I think there's no need for you to watch such a flashback if it was done then. You'd know what's going to happen every second.😂

It is just really weird to think that Cindy heard about Lucy's murder over the phone came back to the square after finding out about Lucy's death ends up lurking around the corner but yet never came back for Lucy's funeral service
Can’t believe she is back but what has happened in the past stays in the past. And also she has been away far too long she needs her family more than anything in the world and especially Gina and Anna

This has all been well established already. Cindy gave evidence against her cell mate (Jackie) who was running a violent criminal operation; in return, Cindy was given an early release from prison, but she knew that the crime gang would be after her blood. She could never go back to her old life until the threat from Jackie's gang had gone, which it now has, with the last of them dying recently.

Now give me back Ronnie and Roxy and how a secret submarine saved them, when we really thought they had drowned and it parked them off in Southampton, where they had stayed to recover from memory loss, due to too much water intake. Their rehab, helped them remember they are sisters and they slowly reconstructed enough memory data to connect them back to Walford. THE GRAND MITCHELL SISTERS RETURN PENDING 2028..

@@EternalPayne Ian still locked Dennis in that room he had plenty of time to get him out even after the boat crashed and yes that storyline was ridiculous as well i agree on that.
@@EternalPayne it was actually Ben Mitchell's Fault that the boat crashed by going after Keanu, and in terms of Phil he didn't have anything to do with any of this apart from being stabbed on the back by Sharon the Slapper.

So Cindy was alive, went in hiding like Kathy did, like Den did, witness protection, normally you go with your children in Witness protection. She comes out at some point and starts a new life with a new man, years later that man ends up managing the only pub in the world it would seem in the only place in the world that is Walford?
