Freddie Mercury Interview (1982)
/ queenofficial - Видеоклипы
Is it even possible to miss someone I've never met this much..
Monika Anindita I’ve felt the same way for 2 weeks now. Ever since I watched Bohemian Rhapsody. It’s so weird that I feel this way lol but I’m glad I’m not the only one.
@@samanthalazcano3765 Don't worry, since i saw Bohemian Rhapsody last friday I'm literally watching and listening queen 24/7, I just can't stop 😩
@@samanthalazcano3765 i feel the same aswell. I feel like i am grieving now.. how is that possible? such a man, and movie and I love the other guys too
u r not alone
missed him and miss deaky as well, always hope that the 3 of them would meet again because of the movie
Anybody else watching lots of queen videos at the moment? 😍
Im watching this because i just watched the new Bohemian Rhapsody movie and was blow away by the lead actor..ive bever heard freddie mercury in an interview before and was curious how close the movie version was to the real guy...
Me, I loved queen ever since I was 6 but when I saw Bohemian Rhapsody I fell more in love now that I actually know his story
Oh yeah. I'm watching a ton of videos.
@@skip741x3 Me too. I'm addicted to his voice. The actor in the movie was amazing. I watched Bo-Rap six times.
It’s basically all I do 😂
He was so beautiful, I can't get enough of watching him. His eyes just seem to draw you in. No body can ever replace him.
♥️♥️
Just so wow. No longer physicality here but ever present.
Yea…his eyes 🥰
YES! His eyes are just the beginning...
I love Freddie's voice when he talks with people.
oh yes i love his voice too♥️♥️😍😍
Me too ❤️❤️❤️
Bariton
me too, it’s so therapeutic 🫶🏻
Could’ve just said you love Freddie’s voice when he speaks 🤣
You can tell this man is a genius. There's a lot going on behind the eyes. Love him.
So true 😉
Absolutely darling
Highly sensitive highly creative, genius level....
I always said his intelligence was right up there with Jim Morrison's. You can tell his gears were always moving.
Beautiful eyes. Interesting that they did several close ups of his eyes for an interview. They must have thought the same thing!
yass!
Julie Hanson
Agree with you, he could also speak with those beautiful eyes.
Yes his eyes is so sexy...
the movie didnt bother to make rami's eyes black
Indeed... and it shows us his kindness & gentleness 😍
When I look into his eyes I see a good person who is misunderstood.
Yeah it’s unfortunate the way the movie portrayed him as something he wasn’t 😔
@@breejames6323 I can't even get to watch the Bohemian Rhapsody full movie 🍿🎥 on youtube
@@afreakaboucher1316 you can get the movie at Walmart for about 15$ it’s a good movie but in the film Freddie was a real shit head to everyone lol.
@@breejames6323 very true. That’s such a bad thing
@@breejames6323 U DONT KNOW HIM U WEIRD FUCK☠️☠️☠️
I don’t understand people who call him ugly! How dare you!! He was a VERY handsome man
Who called him ugly. They must be blind
I agree. He seemed like a really sweet person.
@@dpage446 well, but his overall look was really good.
Was 100% Handsome n cool fe sure
People called him ugly?
I could listen to him read out the phone book.
Alex Dredge my god i could listen to him read a lame school pamphlet and still love it
so true what a voice and always very polite too
Alex Dredge and look confused as he read through the jim huttons. :P
Yes yes yes.
And when he’s done with the phone book, I’d give him the dictionary
Damn, the comment sections on Freddy videos are the most wholesome places on the internet.
I never thought about that but it's true! Not even much profanity which is refreshing.
I'm sorry but it's freddie
true... until people start talking about his sexuality but at least they stay in one comment and just reply i stead of making new ones
Until people start saying creepy things about his appearance.
Wow that’s kind of mind blowing. Your right. 🤔🤔🤔
As others have said, I love listening to Freddie talk. He was so 'ordinary', not at all arrogant, but very polite, and every time I listen to him speak, I feel like I discover something new about him. I get such a good feeling about this man, gut instinct I guess, but I feel very strongly that he was a good soul, and had a kind heart. I will always regret not seeing him in a live performance, but through interviews like this, I've learned so much about him. Freddie was a legend, his flame will never burn out, and he will be forever loved by those of us who were priveleged to be alive, while he was. I miss you Freddie, you were truly beautiful, body and soul. xx
so sad that he died at 45yo just because he loved living life every single day (pp in the darkest dirty hole). it had a consequence. RIP
Because he was Indian, not a yuppie or greedy.
I can’t believe his body doesn’t exist anymore. Like his dark brown eyes and his voice along with his beautiful facial structure along with his iconic buck teeth doesn’t exist anymore and it never will exist again... I’m so sad. This is it everyone, this beautiful man has left us and never will come back again... such a beautiful human being inside and out
This made me cry :-:
Oh how i agree!!! He is the Epitome of sexy!!!! When they did a close-up of his eyes I did a screenshot. I want to be able to look at those beautiful brown eyes whenever I feel like it. What a beautiful beautiful man. I am the same age now as when he passed away. So to me he is my age not in his 70s like he would be if he were still alive. I would do whatever I have to to get close to him LOL I live in America and have plans to travel to England within the next 3 to 5 years. And you can guarantee that Garden Lodge is on my itinerary!
@@CinnamonEggs i cry every time I hear him sing or watch his videos, I just Love Him to pieces!!
Wow no words :( .
He is so handsome :)
Freddie's eyes are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
I'm also in love with his lips

He was into Jimi Hendrix big time...the video footage of thier Hunguary concerts he is saying a ton of funny things. Just look at the band Logo too - More Regal with Monarcy hindsight.
Life is Hard Okay? I mean, I'm already friends with like, 2 gay people. What's so wrong?
I just cought myself that the way I am looking at and listening to Freddie is the way you look at person you falling in love with...does anybody else have that feeling?
Almost every person watching this has this feeling
he's one of the most charismatic people who has ever lived. damn.
Every time I see him

Definitely
He was so gorgeous... those eyes😍😍😍 his voice is so hypnotizing... boy, he was super handsome😍😍😍
I love freddie mercury he's such a fascinating beautiful person.

Not to mention his beautiful eyes :)
Baddass Singer...Bonzo (ZEPPELIN) would get attention by doing solo's, so would Hendrix (Jimi), when you would hear Freddies various voice solo' s - you're like OH Shit!!!!!!!!!!

I would of love to have met this man. He was so brilliant. RIP Freddie Mercury.

^^^^^^^
was not aware how messed up his teeth were.
richard courchene it was just an overbite
*2019* Freddie, your beauty, your music, your brilliance, and your eccentricities are so missed.
Freddie has such a nice voice whether he was singing or talking or laughing.
Wonderful British accent but surprisingly he is very shy
to me he had 3 distinctively different personalities. The commanding very sure of himself genius on-stage guy...the playful, crazy party-animal off-stage guy..and the shy, gentle & kind low-key guy most people never saw.. I would have loved to know him because if you were his true loyal friend, he would give you his heart and soul.
rdowning60 I really like Him by his all manner. He becomes anyone else on the stage or in front of a camera.
I think ,You know him very well and like him as much as someone very close to him based on Your comment that explains Freddie so concisely :)
I truly love the guy..I have read so much about him to get an in-depth idea of who he was. We all know who he was on stage..but it was the other Freddie I wanted to know. I have 2 portraits of him that will be will be forever be on my wall.
rdowning60 I respect and appreciate Your Loyalty.
that's why it gets to me when people post stuff (un-truths) without doing a little research. like the guy who said Freddie didn't smoke til he met jim in 1985..yet there were videos of Freddie smoking in 1981 and 82..and then he claimed to be a friend of Freddie since the 60's..(yea right). If he truly knew Freddie he would have known that..heck I never met Freddie, but I will try do some research b4 I say something that's not true..are you in usa or uk?
I always look forward to the comments in Freddie Mercury videos because, in my generation, there are not many Freddie/Queen fans and so I love feeling like I'm in a community when I can talk about this legend!
Feeling exactly the same way!!!
Eve H i feel the same
I'm in my twenties and I love Freddie!!! And Bowie! Eighties music was so much better todays music
Oh my gosh, I know right?! Why can no-one sing these days? :)
Eve H Freddies spirit lives in his music and our hearts. He captivated love and projected his heart and soul into our lives. He's a Angel that left too soon.
The only famous person I’ve cried over when he died.
Same here
Freddie Mercury and Princess Diana.
Stan Lee too
Alan Rickman
NEVER forget Michael Jackson
Freddie had the most beautiful, genuine soul. What an amazing person.
Love the positivity of the comments. It makes sense that such a great guy should have so many great fans.
He cheated on his wife multiple times
Garibaldi Studios He never married.
He cheated on his girlfriend multiple times
@Izabella Ursuliak when I have saws the film he just was beige to stay with him but she wouldn't, so if weren't his manager very bad and if his love stay with him and help him to get way from his sexuality position I'll promise that he would become great husband and man forever
@@garibaldistudios5406 You're right, he's the absolute worst. Because Brian, Roger and John Deacon never cheated on their wives. Oh no. In fact no rock n roll star ever cheated on their partners. Rock stars are saints. Give me a break. If that's your biggest gripe you're living in a bubble mate. He was struggling with his sexuality and then realized he was probably also poly mentioned by some of his exes. So it wasn't just gratuitous cheating unlike some other people, stars or not.
Wow. Not a shred of arrogance.
zero
the four of them are always very well manered, seems like all british rockstar from that era are like that

KKKLKK very surprising, but I think, it was just about being nice to him and he would too, like not asking stupid questions or talk about his sexuality. Media used to be so annoying and tuff on them that they created a sort of deffense on it.
Beautiful, articulate, talented, intelligent and a gentle kind hearted man. Thank you for being YOU Freddie. You are so very loved. You were the GENIUS my darling man. R.I.P. sweetheart. You will never be forgotten ❣️🦋😢🦋
It really shows how amazing he was when 28 years have passed since he passed and people are still in awe of him. A true legend, and so humble in his interviews, I love him.
He was so beautiful, talented, charismatic...the greatest rock frontman who ever lived. There will never be anyone like Freddie again. We were blessed to have him for the brief time we did.

I love his teeth! They make him look so lovely
DontKnowACoolName that overbite
I agree. I always thought his teeth were apart of his appeal. They suit him somehow. If it were anyone else it probably wouldn't lol
He was actually very self-conscience about their size.
I can't agree more ❣️
SaturnPhase I was thinking the same thing. Also I am sure I heard somewhere that he was approached to fix the overbit but said it would mess up his voice? I could be incorrect but I remember that from something. Would love to see the new movie!
Sometimes, its as if i can feel his presence anytime i listen to his music. I think only a huge Queen fan would understand what im talking about.
I understand you. I feel like he is still around too.
Oh yes ❤
Don't be sad - his energy is all around us. When we die, we don't really go anywhere - we are just spirit and we're actually still here, just not in human form.
yes, i understand what you mean
Aww😭. He had the sweetest eyes! They were so kind, and gorgeous eyelashes. 💜💕
He's very soothing to listen to
Right. Listening to his voice is very soothing whether he’s singing or talking 🥰
A Cig in 1 hand and a drink in the other 😎 Classic Freddie!
The God he barley took a real drag. Just tiny little puffs.
If you read a lot about Freddie he has mention many times, He would only do interviews with a Cigarette and Beer, because he doesn’t know what to do with his fidgety hands.
Jan JABARA that’s kinda like me tbf 😂
If they existed back then he would've used a fidget spinner....
For his fidgety hands...
Jan JABARA Smoking was much more common then.
What I love about Freddy is no matter how many interviews he did, and I'm sure he was very jaded with doing so many, he was always very polite and respectful to the interviewer! And funny!
Freddie had THE most magical, ethereal, mezmerizing eyes I have ever seen in my entire life! They hypnotize you and just draw you in to reveal his beautiful soul shining through. Love you forever Freddie ❤🙏

Just a big star with crazy talent, but so down to earth and humble. RIP
He is really handsome !!! :3
He has such a kind face.
I suffer from debilitating depression and have been having a really difficult time lately. Freddy passed away when I was 14 years old and because of where I was living, I had no access to Queen's music. As I got older I became more exposed to their music and now even more so than ever. I find myself watching these interviews over and over again, finding new ones, and rewatching ones I've already seen. For a brief period, while I watch him communicate with those conducting the interview or with others, I'm transported from this very dark place and it makes me feel like I can breathe for a moment. Without a better way to explain it, it's like I can literally feel my heart smile, actually form a smile inside my chest, when he's discussing the band, himself, and their future endeavours. Even if it's just for a moment, it helps me to get a break from being in the dark. People like Freddy have passed on while other people who aren't worth a glass of air still walk the earth. It's not fair.
I know what you mean. I feel that way too.
Same feeling you’re not alone
I feel the same way
I have same medical problém as you, and share similar feelings with you. Freddie had sun comming within. Wish you good times, thanks for your comment 💖🙏🍀
Take care you good person.
the only man who singed from his soul that's why queen remain a legendary band until this day thanks to this man
true !
Look, we are all fans, that's why most people are watching this interview. There is no doubt that Freddie is amongst the best of the best as far as vocalists. But, to sit there and say " the only man to sing with soul " is just moronic and insulting. Maybe you should listen to some other music and give queen a break for a little while...
dude this comment was about more than a year ago shit i grew up into more music now lol i don't even remember this comment
Lol
Kail I sure do hope so because that was a very dumb thing to say
He will remain one of the greatest gift to music. Beautiful person inside and out!!

freddiepoos you are welcome ❤❤
I tend to to think what everyone else is amazed with is the fact that this man had a brain and used it. He was very intelligent and implemented structure in his music. He knew his talent and ran with it-that was Freddie! The ICON was always there-When did you discover him?
Mike Strawn if he had a brain he would have used a condom
@@ronlil100 If you had a brain you'd know that at the time Freddie contracted HIV doctors themselves admitted that nothing was known about what the disease or how the disease was even transmitted, so they couldn't even advise people on what to do to prevent it. By time they discovered it was sexually transmitted and that condoms were key to reducing exposure, it was already too late for Freddie and many others who died from a disease that literally snuck up on everyone stealthily and almost overnight. As many of said, back then there was no such thing as "safe" sex, there was just sex. Straight or gay. So yeah, check your history before you go spouting off at the mouth, mate.
Freddie was smart, just like Jim Morrison. In fact, Jim could be reading his poetry to Freddie in heaven right now. they were both quirky and very intelligent. I like them both.
He was such a beautiful man. Look at him!!! I have never felt more connected to someone I've never met before..
His voices talking (shy) and singing (stronger) are so different! He is marvelous!! ♥️
I love Freddie Mercury, so much. I had just learned about his band. I know that lots of people might say that that is not enough time to love a band and know most of their songs. Well Iv'e written down all of their songs and I love about all of them, that's a true Queen fan. I love all the members in Queen, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. They were a really good group to be, I love Queen. I really do.
He is the reaseon i want to believe in heaven and wish i could get there and see him talk to him and listen to his heaven music and angel voice)))

Мурад Гусейнов believing in something does not make it true. And the reason for you wanting to be in heaven should be because you want to believe in God, but god was proven wrong just like Roman and Greek gods

Мурад Гусейнов well he did say that he doesn't want to be in heaven, hell is much better, so many different people, heaven is boring. He said it in one of his interwievs, don't remember which but he already had short hair and the moustache.

Why does he have to be gay just to find him as good looking, because he was.
Freddie may have left us nearly 30 years ago, but even now, he remains an icon, a legend! He is so humble, so respectful, a true genius of rock music, miss him enormously, RIP........
This is one of the loveliest interviews I've ever seen with Freddie. Not the content or the setting, but his relaxation, his honesty. Often he was flippant, or trying to shock, but here he is just ... real. Gentle. Lovely.

Yes but also Paul McCartney and Ringo
I miss you Freddie 😢 Even though I never had the chance to meet him or see Queen live. After seeing Bohemian Rhapsody I can’t stop listening to Queen music and watching interviews with Freddie. It’s weird to miss someone you’ve never met, but he’s a true legend to me!
His voice was so awesome and strong. Queen loved him so much. they had such a close bond...like brothers. He will always be missed.
Gorgeous eyes
1982 interview with Freddie Mercury - very talented, hardworking and serious person.
Freddie had beautiful eyes....awwww heck everything about him was beautiful
His talking Voice warms my Heart
Idk why, but his talking voice is as unique as his singing one (in my opinion)
I like him, even tho he is dead for 27 years.I just love his black eyes, his face, his teeth, everything!Sometimes people asks me what I find pretty at him, besides his music, and I say:I don't know, something is atracting me.It sounds crazy to be in love with a dead man, even if he was gay,I don't care
This is exactly how I feel! I've only been a Queen fan for a few months but Freddie has captured my soul in a way no other musician or celebrity ever has in my life! It's like I can smell his pheromones from beyond the grave and through the computer screen. Nobody has ever had this effect on me and I'm still not sure whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. I just know that since discovering him I feel more alive. What is happening to me?

LillyTheLonelySock hey don't worry I'm not a teenager either, I'm 25 and i feel totally the same. when I was 12 i was obsessed with green day and now with queen. and i've realized my obsession for queen is even more intense now than it was with green day when i was in puberty, just like in your case. Freddie is really beautiful and I love to hear him talk. I love the contrast of his stage persona and the way he is off stage.
Oh my Freddie....
Your eyes..... So innocent.....!!!!!!!!!
He was such an amazing man, incredibly kind, humble, adorable and smart. I'm so happy that these interviews were kept and shared through this wonderful space so more people get to know, who is to me the greatest artist of the past century. Miss him without even met him. Impossible not to love him
I watched this to find out what Freddie Mercury sounded like when he wasn't singing, I wasn't expecting this!
Me too, never heard him speak before and I knew he had foreign parents and so I wondered if he had an accent
Ryan Joyce He had a British accent.
Kay B I hear his Indian tones in there as well very clearly.
Well, I don't. But then. I'm not a native speaker...
I'm from England (UK) as English and white as it gets, but I am familiar with the sounds of different cultures. I must admit I probably did not recognise this in his voice when I was younger.
Gosh, I miss Freddie...brilliant, insightful and extremely articulate as well. One of the truly seminal voices in music. Thanks for posting this!

I love his eyes, sooo beautiful. Freddie, darling, we miss you and we still love you!
What I love about Freddie’s interviews he was always honest and so humble without being egocentric he made millions yet he never seemed to ever possess any arrogance or behaved like a spoilt diva he looked at life and music with both his feet on the ground no matter how big Queen got they always stayed true to their roots I think that’s why they are so massively respected by their fans
Check out 7:07 his voice cracks high to low and he seems sincere.
haha that'was cute.

There is a sigaette in hand and a beer in front in all his interviews and his beautiful eyes, lip dance, his voice, his shy look, his clever talk ❤ Freddie is love, he was fool of life
What a soft spoken sweet man
Freddie mercury's intelligence and wit are two of my favorite things about him. When he answers interviewers questions you can see his humor. His laugh is cute too.
His opinion on Ego and how difficult it is to manage was stark, frank and completely surprising... “one foot on the ground.” Candid. I like him even more.
