  • We were planning to go via Solapur Sangli route however learnt that the route had bad road condition. So we took this route, must say this was a good choice as we reached South Goa in 12 hours.
If you want to go to Gokarna from Hyderabad you need to take the same route.

If you are driving at night and have kids who needs to sleep, this is a great solution.
Approx Petrol consumed was around 39 lit for 715 Kms.

Nice and helpful video. Also thinking of taking the same route during our trip next month from Kolkata. We will also start Goa from South.

Can you please suggest a transit stop at some place after Mahbubnagar? Like 1-1.30hrs from Mahbubnagar somewhere near Marikal or Makthal.

@@DiveintoOblivion when we crossed this area it was night time. If you want you can stop somewhere on the Raichur highway if its daytime.

I follow your videos. Could you kindly include eating joints enroute, bad road patches and hotel details.

There are lot of food joints ..especially in Raichur. There is no bad stretch as such , only issue i will say is Raichur road is single lane and has lots of speedbreakers

@@HighwayTravelTales how many KM's speed brakers will be there like that??

@@sriramachandraraopamarthi6630It's just the Raichur stretch you will get speedbreakers. The stretch is approx 70 kms.

Very nice video i would suggest from hubbali set your maps to ponda via ramnagar which is even more faster. Ive been travelling in my car for almost 33 times and all the 28 times i have been through this road

If you are going to North Goa via Ponda makes sense. But as we were going to Canacona Palolem this route was via NH and s scenic drive, hence took this

We r planning to go to Goa from Hyderabad. So u prefer the same Raichur Hubli route or solapur sangli route?

If you are going to South Goa, this route is best and faster. Take Solapur route if you are going to North Goa

Solapur and kolapur route is long but still route is very better than raichur route

Avoid Raichur Hubli route at night. It is usually desolate and void of traffic, difficult to get help in case.

@@BOBBY-kz8jy which route ? If you follow the same route as we took, there are limited speed breakers in the Raichur stretch only. Apart from that the Hubbali Hosapet section is amazing

Hi...planning to travel with my 10month old Baby next weekend. I need the optimum route so it takes less time for us. We too are traveling to Palolem. So can you please share the route link through google map?

Take Bangalore exit from ORR, to Mahabubnagar, take right towards Raichur, This road is single lane till Hosapet (there are a few speed breakers, but road is good). From Hosapet to Hubbali its brilliant road NH 67 you can easily maintain 120 kmph, From Hubbali go towards Karwar (beautiful scenic ghat section drive), Roads are not dangerous but drive at controlled speed of 40-60 kmph in this section. Enjoy the scenic views of Karwar beach and enter South Goa. We reached Goa in 12 hours :)

Don’t worry about the time drive slow and safe ! I agree time doesn’t come back but life is more important than the little time that we loose
