As someone that is getting back into the TCG, this series is great. I haven't played in so long and I'm not ready to commit $$$$ to the hobby just yet so these lists definitely help put me in a place where I can compete and get a feel for the changes to the game. Thank you!

I remember the very first time I saw the first episode of yugioh DM era aired back then on kids' WB. I was living with my grandparents at the time in NYC. I can see how returning players might be overwhelmed or intimidated by this. I’m definitely going to build this deck and give it a shot. Your channel brought back the dueling itch!
I’ve played Cyber Dragons, Heroes, Dragon link, Branded and Ignisters… wether it’s locals or Master Duel I just play Ignisters more. It’s a versatile deck and a lot of fun in meta or casual play. Definitely my favourite deck 👍🏾.
Or if hella cheap. Play Avermax. I did that over my second access code. One Time time I built a board with towers guy+avermax to save my access code if somehow I got broken. Actually nice because most decks cant out Towers unless they access code or punisher. and even if they underworld goddess they cant out the averamax.
When you start giving examples for combos, could you also comment on ways that you'd play around interaction? Like, "if your link-1 gets negated, but you have this card in hand, you'd be able to continue to combo off", or something to that effect. I think people that haven't played a particular strategy could benefit from some extra knowledge.
To answer your question, I've been playing this deck for 5 months and when you get your link 1 negated, well the only way you can go off is either you have a ailand/terraforming in hand, cause if you don't You're kind of screwed and are going to rely on negating the right effects from your opponent
I usually have an extender in a monster that can special summon itself or a revive spell. Hopefully it’s the monster because if I can link climb into Zeroboros, I can set A.I.idle for my opponents turn and if they don’t clear my back row I let them pop off or even make their board, then I special summon a monster from the gy to activate Zero’s effect to clear the field.

I love this deck. My build plays to summon the fusion, synchro, xyz, ritual, and both link 3s on turn one. I think its cool that this archetype has a monster of every type. I think it's fun. I mainly aim to go 2nd tho where I used the update jammer accesscode otk

We did a “homemade locals” with 12 people and the guy who got 1st place did 4-0 with Ignister. He’s a really good player, seems like a decent guy and I’m really happy to see a non-tier1 deck topping regardless of the crap roaming around lately
I would (after you summon Wind pegasus), Link summon again using wing pegusus and Pikari into your splash mage. After that use Splash mages effect to bring back Pikari, Then Link into your Rank 6 The Arrival @Ignister using the Splash mage first (To get the first two arrows) Then the dark infint, Aichichi, Dark Templar and Pikari, to make The Arrival @Ignister into a 5000 attack monster that is uneffected by card effects.
the engine is only like 20$ if you already have hand traps and accesscode maybe even less. the tech cards like crossout and droplets are the only expensive things def recommend for new/budget players
The new psychic cards can snipe cards from the extra deck. Any suggestions on slimming this extra deck so I can run some 2 ofs instead if of 1 each of everything?

Not sure why but I had to get the deck for $100 USD off like ebay and tcg even though I already had some staples like accesscode and ash. Maybe because I live in Canada so the places who ship to my area have higher card prices.
Bruh why couldnt u drop this sooner 5:04 in place of that i did 2 ash 2 imperm 2 Nibs 1 vailor 1 ogre 3 crossout Thats the only diffrence between mine and yours 11 card diffrence cost me almost 300. Lol
The deck, minus Accescode is closer to $90 ($140 with access). 3x Imperm is still a $30 card and 3x crows $11. If you find cheaper alts to those (maybe Skull Meister and Ghost Ogre) you can get closer to the $100 mark
Potentially silly question, but why do we play hiyari over doshin? Hiyari isn’t searchable with ai meet you but doshin is and they have the exact same special summon effect
Different attribute so easier to use it for an higher attack arrival and hiyari's second effect searches for a high level main deck ignister monster so it adds gatchiri for protection effects or for more materials for links on the field
The deck is very cheap if you dont want to put that money.If you cut acces code thats 50 if you cut imperm thats 35 .Thats 3 structure deck and the most expensive cards are use in a lot of decks.
Right Now, $100 is the closest one can get to a budget deck. While I agree that it is Whak that $100 is budget, the game has been going up for quite some time.

instead of accesscode, I use topologic zerovoros and instead of link spider, I use security dragon. what's even the point of link spider in the deck?
You can drop link spider and put quantum dragon, Quantum dragon has save me so many times. I also play dark fluid dragon for OTK

Idk about Yugioh but in Magic, Modern decks cost up to 1800$, so 100$ is definetly budget
