This is probably one of my favorite decklist videos. Goes into detail JUST enough that it's not overbearing on what everything does while still knowing what each card is basically doing for the deck. Also code talkers have been a long time favorite of mine for cyberse that I don't see too often as it seems people usually play the @ignister version.
I'm only 2 minutes in and it's easily the slickest deck profile video I've seen. It's really refreshing seeing the person who out the deck together while they're explaining card choices instead of just staring at a play mat and watching a pair of hands flick cards about the screen.
Something to add to the discussion, Decode Talker Heatsoul. May not be out in the TCG or Master Duel yet, but it is something you will want to have in your ED.
I’m also curious how that card changes the build, will be nice having a better fire attribute code talker than powercode, who can be hard to summon, but it’s link arrows are a bit awkward for the extra link.
@@thewrestler2412 yeah I do love degrade buster as a good end board piece as well as extender, I typically take him out because of how clunky powercode’s materials are though so it’ll be nice to add him back into the deck.
@@Boristien405 it will not. No one plays the heatsoul control Variant. U play the same deck and just add heatsoul between your combo to draw 1 and search gazelle, thats it
This was the first deck I made when I decided to learn link summoning when I came to master duel. Ended up being how I originally found the channel and I'm glad that this is here maybe we'll see a bit more code talker decks now that this updated deck profile is here. It really is a fun deck.
This video format and editing is absolutely stellar! I've been trying this deck out on EDOPro ever since the subathon, trying my best but not understanding the lines of play. Thank you Coder, all the best to you CoderL
I've been enjoying playing Code Talkers since getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh and this was such a chill and well explained deck building video with good and clear examples of what the cards do. So much better than what some of the other Yu-Gi-Oh tubers do
I love this deck so much, I have been playing a similar version of this deck, but my game plan is typically setting three counter traps via salamangreats and world legacies alongside the link board
This was an incredible video, even as someone who doesn't play the deck, this was honestly one of the easiest to understand deck profiles I've ever seen, and really sold the deck to me. I really hope you'll be able to make more content like this, but I'm also just happy to be able to learn from this!
Such a well put together and pleasing profile to watch. Slows things down and discusses things with out a ton of the ygo jargon and the hyper speed most yugitubers go with. SUPER WELL DONE.
A bunch of yugitubers have already explained why they don't do that. if they do, people skip to the end for just the image, which hurts their viewership retention. Doing that is just a bad idea as a content creator
I love how you went over cards that can synergize with the Code Talkers, even though you arent playing them in your main deck. Youre amazing with the decklists, coder👍
@@alexanderson2502 did you watch the video? Those are alternates that he discusses running in the deck in either different formats or under unique circumstances

Out of sheer madness, I decided to make code talkers in MD as my 1st deck that I had only cursory knowledge of, 2nd being madolche, all thanks to Coder's old code talker video. Here's hoping we get to 2k, so I can learn to play it better because I can't seem to U-link properly.
I love the vibe and structure of this video. It reminds me of Magic the Gathering deck techs. Your explanations are also on-point. Awesome video as always, funny judge man!

CODER!!! I can't wait to see the combos this deck can do! I instantly fell in love with Code Talkers when they first came out and hoped they would be a fun deck to play... Was not disappointed at how well it plays and how much thought can go into its strategies :D I've had a fair share of close duels with it and confidently can say "I'm a Code Talker".
super cool deck profile!!! i love that you really give us the bones to build and experiment on our own, and you go through each card's utility SO thoroughly
I was honestly hoping you'd make this video. Saw you play this deck on the last sub-a-thon and it turned this deck from a passing interest, to something I really wanted to play. The display of that full board of link monsters and how you reached it was art! Love my Sunavalon deck, but it's pretty flimsy and limited compared to Code Talkers. So I'm glad I can learn how to play this deck! Thanks for the video! :D
So I watched your video on how to play the deck. It really helped me out in master duel. The deck has gotten me to gold 1 so far, and I made my own tweaks and choices for mine just to be different. Usually whether I'm going first or second I can get the combo done and I skip Iblee when I go second. I wish I could dotscapper both times because I use scrypton in my decklist.
duuude one of the first videos you made about this deck is what made me want to build it. I think it's a reaally nice deck and learning stuff from you really helped me with it
Always loved code talker decks!! Just couldn't build one just right but thanks to this video, I can. Awesome job explaining uses as well as combos. We need more videos like this!
I can't wait for the combo tutorial vid, I've always wanted to play an extra link deck but I wasn't playing at all during MR4 and extra links don't really matter much in MR5 without Iblee on board
Wow coder, this might be the coolest decklist video I have seen, gonna end up making a new account on MD so I can play just code talkers to plat! Can really see the effort you and your editor (dire
Very cohesive and and way better to understand then regular Deck profiles but gotta say it I only clicked on it after the thumbnail was changed, the new one felt more authentic and less click baity
I was interested in this deck and been having fun learning the combos. They're long but being able to special summon a lot is cool. It's awesome how you make these high quality videos with not only a deck list but also explain what the cards in the deck do. Thanks for this video Coder! (I also want to build this deck irl cuz testing it out on Master Duel has been a good time)
This was one of the best deck profiles I ever seen good cards by card explanations not a bunch of hand flicking or zooming threw cards this profile was real solid
Recently watched a 7mo old video on a similar Code Talker strategy, and I'm loving it so far. Apparently I need to update with the new Firewall support, so I have some new stuff to learn. Need to learn to get iblee out before 5 lol
Depending on who you are and your thoughts on this deck, the biggest pro and con of this is that it takes you about 4 minutes to go full combo in Master Duel and will cause opponents to quit before finishing.
It's not that I don't appreciate the overview of the deck. Until now, I really didn't understand code talkers and how they worked, but without being able to *see* an example decklist, it's really hard for me to follow along. Even if it's just a duellingbook PNG decklist every so often, so I can get visual clarification on your recommendations. I understand it's so that others can work on critical thinking during deck building, but as a newbie to Cyberse and Link monsters, It got a bit overwhelming at Code Talker Inverted, because we're going over both the reason the cards are played, as well as the number of cards that you personally recommend... and for some of the cards in that section that's Zero. Still! Thank you for your insight! It helps tremendously!
I'm not good with combos, but I really want to learn this deck. I really want to know the full card by card so if I do build it, I know what to get and what to skip.
Since Heatsoul is coming in GFTP2 I’m really hoping that they include Code Exporter also. This is one of my favorite decks to bring to locals because no one expects it. Thanks for the video Coder!
Just bought what I needed for the deck, I already had Small Worlds so it was super cheap! Excited to see how the deck evolves and changes once TCG has Heatsoul!
I'd just started playing Master Duel, I still don't have all the cards to this deck, but I have a somewhat grasp on how powerful and fun it is, and let me tell you, I never thought I would have this much fun starting a tcg game haha
This was awesome! Hope you can make the combo video since I love code talkers. Also bc inverted's effect can only activate if you have an applicable monster in hand already
