Hello Everyone, Thanks for tuning into Appalachian Anarchy! We appreciate all the feedback and love, but I want to address a few comments labeling our music as AI-generated. I'm the songwriter behind our tunes, very much human, and here to share our story. Appalachian Anarchy began as a recording project. When "Banjo Bloodbath" took off unexpectedly, we sped up releasing our music, which has been both thrilling and chaotic. Our goal shifted from a slow release to sharing our entire album, crafted over nine months, as quickly as possible due to your overwhelming support. Not all of us are keen on being internet personalities; our focus is the music. In the digital age, where fame is often sought after, it’s hard to believe, but some of us prefer staying out of the spotlight. For full transparency, I use a MIDI guitar for complex sections and other instruments whenever possible. As a classically trained guitarist who plays multiple instruments, I strive to capture the sounds in our heads, sometimes at odd hours next to a sleeping baby’s room, using both traditional and digital means. This mix allows us to create without the resources of a professional studio. We dream of doing this full-time someday, but for now, we balance our music with jobs and families. Thank you for being part of our journey, and I hope this clarifies our approach. We’d love to hear your thoughts and hope you continue enjoying our music! Cheers, Appalachian Anarchy
Much appreciate hearing about how the sausage is made. Who does your artwork? I think the algorithm recommended your music to me since it looks similar to Disco Elysium’s art.
if u folks ever plan to give an live concert.. gimme some 4+ weeks notice and some 300 pound redneck from germany will attend.. and drink all your beer :-P
It's been almost an hour since I discovered this music and each song I have listened is a banger after another. Damn! I'm in love of this music! I wish I could create some video mixes with it but I am satisfied with listening and knowing talented people like you exist!
If you like unconventional metal combos that absolutely slap like Appalachian Anarchy, youd like Diablo Swing Orchestra. They combine everything from country, opera, swing, jazz to classical music with heavy metal. I recommend starting with Honeytrap Aftermath!
Been listening and playing metal for a good number of years that its lost its edge a bit. Started getting into bluegrass, then what shows up in my recommended on a billy strings song of all things, is this glorious masterpiece of a genre. Might have to add banjo to my wall of insturments and grab my violin playing friend, see if he cant fiddle.
Ma said not to call Cletus your cousin brother a mutant anymore. just because he has a face not even a mother could love and three arms and a pincer and clubbed feet. but Pa said go git gud!
Guys, lets remember this is not Rockabilly for that is driven by a guitar not a banjo, it is not the Scrugg brothers for that is bluegrass from the 50’s. This music is what they said it is, bluegrass, banjo and fiddle driven, with a metal background. They did what they advertised put metal and bluegrass together. I like it as I also like original blue grass and rockabilly.
Y'all....this is what I'm listening to next time we gotta bust up the still when The Man comes sniffing too close! Stereotypic humor aside.....I'm jamming to this soon as I hit the Tennessee state line on a Louisiana/Kentucky run! Extremely well done and very adrenaline inducing! 🖖⚜️
Will do! We've been bustin'-hump getting new music ready. We're going to keep doing instrumentals, but we're also starting songs with a few different singers to see where those paths could lead. All-in-all, we'll be putting up lots of new music in the near future! THANKS!
I was at a bluegrass festival last night and was wondering if bluegrass metal was a thing. Searched it today and this came up. Absolutely amazing that it exists and this is basically what I had hoped it would sound like. Love this!!!!
Rock on! Yeah, its pretty amazing how well the 2 genres mesh. I grew up on punk music too, so there's definitely some of that influencing the music as well.
Nice ear! I've played in a quite a few folk bands through the years too. Its cool how we're sorta just a sum of all the different stuff we've done, and even when you try fusing just 2 things... all the other stuff you've picked up along the way just seeps right in.
Thanks for ROCKING OUT!!! We have some merchandise here: www.mightyhappycrew.com/store?Category=Appalachian%2520Anarchy Its pretty limited at the moment, but we'll be working on expanding soon. ROCK ON!
Been waiting for over a half a century for some twisted up skull stompin’ hillbilly from hell fuck the rest of the world music to catch up to me. Givin me a new dangerous old man attitude, and the devil knows I needed that, ha!haa!haaaa!!! git some sonny!! This is what was playin’ in my head back in ‘64 when my little ol’ feet hit that dirt floor, ha!haaa!haaaaa!!!

Good artwork all the way though too.
Thanks for the tunes last night, everyone loved it.
😍 Imagine the show Justified if they had had this available for the opening instead of the Hick Hop they used back then
Coloca no modo traduzir.vc não está só no mundo kkkkkkk
Hey, carefull now - without the roots there is no tree and without the South, we'll never be free .
Not bad. This would probably hit harder if played with real instruments. The synth is throwing off the meat of the sound.
Damn like finding the holy grill 😊
Only one with perfect purity of heart as Sir Galahad doth find our RUclips channel. Welcome, friend! 😁
Finally, the missing link!
Great stuff. Try the Dixie Dregs Free Fall, etc. 1980's stuff. Seen them in beautiful Chattanooga,Tn. Tore it up!!!

#truth - exactly!
