Thank you SO MUCH for the detailed Frog in a Sweater tutorial. I have searched a lot for a frog pattern wearing a sweater and your pattern is the only one i could find that's free. You did an amazing job and I appreciate your time and instructions very much.
Hi! I dont know if im doing something wrong, but i cant get row 10 to end in a single crochet, the one at 17:05. Ive redone it multiple times, and tried stichmarkers, but nothing seems to work. And so i was wondering if theres something im missing?
I had the exact same problem. Maybe she somehow snuck in an extra stitch there? Because no matter how many times I redo it I end up with five stitches and she has six. In the end I just added an extra single crochet and I am hoping it will look okay
I think she did the last single stitch in the chain. I modified it to 2 single stitches, 2 decreases and 2 single stitches, mimicking the start and giving a total of 6 stitches for that row.
I’ve seen this on Pinterest and I really wanted to make it but I didn’t think I had the skills to do it. Turns out I do. Thanks for the tutorial. I’ll def post this on tumbler. I made this with plush yarn and it turned out great. Still working on the sweater.
I've watched this i feel like 24 hours straight. Very much a beginner, and slowly but surely asm learning all the things. I love how you present and speak. It's calming. And this pattern is lovely
Thank you so much!! Ive been looking for a free tutorial everywhere! Ive crocheted around 6 frogs now! Chould u maybe make a tutorial for more accessories and clothes? For example- overalls, hoodies etc.
Bless you, I hope both sides of your pillow are cold every day forever 🥺 I can only follow video tutorials when I crochet and your vid is by far the best one
My nephew is a comic book artist. One of his characters is G-Frog. I have looked, and looked for a frog that looks closest to his drawing. You frog is soooo close that it will work. Some changes, but your pattern will help me so much. Also, the hiccups you experienced is so assuring to me. Splitting yarns, to weave in the ends or just stuff it in....I can relate. Thank you. Hugs
So excited to see this, I usually just try and make things without a pattern and after some trial and error they turn out but I didn't even know where to begin with this. This tutorial really helped me wrap my head around the process - thank you!
This is so cute! Could only find knit versions of this pattern, so great to find a crochet version - would you consider sharing your written pattern? would make it a little easier to follow and I would love to make one myself :)
I did find a couple other patterns on RUclips but i love how yours is more realistic and more "frog and toad" like 💕 THANK YOU! P.S I liked the counting. It was easier for me to follow your voice
i thought it would be kind of annoying to follow along in "Real time" but i actually enjoyed myself. you are a great teacher and your design is beautiful! i made an adorable little frog for my biology professor :)))
Hey, your videos are your inspiration and your tutorials are cool and precise, I really like watching your videos, I love your work, especially your patience, and how much you crochet, I'm from Poland
Omg im obsessed with knitting frogs. But they take so much time! I feel like this will be way faster simply bc I crochet 6 times faster than I knit 😭 I’m so gonna follow this video!! 😍😍😍
Hello! Amazing pattern, though I do have a question. On the Green part of the body after the decrease round down to six, you say to single crochet five rows. I followed the instruction but the body came out too short and the loop on the hook aligned with the tail of the yarn and not on the other side like in the video. Am I miscounting the rows? 😅
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I like this video format because it feels like crocheting with a friend! I’m also curious if I could sell the frog guys after making them? I’ll make sure to give credit to you guys for the tutorial 😙😙
On the first decrease row for the green/body you ended with a total of eight stitches, but when you do the next row and start with a decrease, then end with a sc l, it gives the row six stitches, but the last dec of that row uses all the eight stitches. So, did you sc into the same last stitch orrr where did the last stitch come from?? Lol thank you btw just a little confused if i should have five or six stitches when i do the next sc rows and where the last sc in that second dec row is coming from :3 tyy! Not sure if it me or uuhhh i just am confused. Other than that this tutorial is very easy to follow
I’ve been going back and forth trying to figure out the exact same thing! Because if you decrease the same way as the row before you only get 5… I’m going to find a way to make it 6 like you said though ☺️
@hvp2291 I actually finished the entire thing and it looked fantastic!! Doing the crochet in the same stitch as the last dec worked well and it didn't look any different than hers! It was very confusing though at first yes lolol!
Thank you for the tutorial i made 2 cute frogs and they sold pretty well! Can you try make a biginner friendly tut for my sister? She also wanted to make something but shes new to crochet 😁
we have a few "how to crochet" and beginner-friendly tutorials on the channel! our stress balls or mini octopus might be a great place for her to start :)
This is maybe a stupid question, but I’m a bit of a beginner, what would be the best way to make this only bigger? Just add extra stitches in the belly/back and rows I guess?
I made simple pants that r like just a chain around the waist of the frog and then i started working in single crochets till i wanna start the legs part, i devide the stitches in half then chain till it reaches the back and slip stitch, start working in the chain and normally on the ither stitches if u want the legs part to be tighter i think u can decrease a bit and keep going till u finish one leg then fasten off and start the other leg i hope u get what im saying 😅
Thank you so much! I give it an 11/10! I would recommend to everyone who knows how to crochet a leggy frog since they are quite similar!-Thanks, Your new pal, Charlie
With the written pattern you showed in the beginning do you think you could release it? Like maybe put it in a Google doc, then in Google drive and share a link? Or a link to the doc

You could make the feets and arms longer and for the bode you can just add one or two rows but i don't rly know how to make it fatter ig just more increases on the body? But before that try using thiccer yarn and needle so the frog becomes bigger
For the love of god the joining part of both body parts is so complicated. I had to do my own way. Wouldn’t it be easier if it’s just sewed together ?😂😂😂😂
