Looks like its picked up since I last ate there as a lot of the units were empty and they blamed La Zenia Boulevard. Its actually just down the road from me in Punta Prima ❤

Ive been to playa flamenca didnt rate it . To get to the beach you have to cross a busy dual carriage way tyen down a steep hill . It has a big shopping centre but everything seemed so spread out . Torrevieca was a lot nicer . I much prefare Alicante town or calpe . Great videos lots of info for people who dont know that area . Keepthem comming .
You can go under the bypass in Playa Flamenca. There is another route which is fine to walk and much safer than trying to cross the main road. And no steep hill. We love Alicante too. Lovely city. Thanks for watching!
Need to go down to the dual carriageway flyover just over from the Mercadona and the bridge underneath will get you to where you need to go. No use at present with the Chiringuito situation, we didn't know till half way into our visit that it was happening, but one thing I will agree is that pedestrian footbridges over the dual carriageway should be there at regular intervals between punta prima and down towards cabo roig, saying as both those have their own safe footbridges and I'm put in mind of staying at the far edge of Fuengirola just beyond the castle and you could literally see the next footbridge from the one you would be using to safely cross the dual carriageway there, local authority in that vicinity of orihuela costa really needs to start using their brains.
Hi guys, it's a learning curve to me as I've never been to that part of Spain before, it's just names of towns/areas I have heard of 😯. I have to admit the constant volume of noise in the music bars area would not be my likes 😮 (I'm getting too old for all that 😢) All the newer CC are look a likes of each other, no matter where they are. I reckon they picked them out of the CC design book held at IKEA HQ 😂 Cheers DougT
We had booked for Gongs on 1st August for our silver wedding, might have to cancel now. Do you two know of any good romantic restaurants, overlooking the sea, for a special occasion?
Totally agree with you. Playa Flamenca centre has too much of a mix of music, all within too close proximity , makes it sound like a casino area. Not what we would want when having a nice meal. This would be a definite no no! Thank you for the video. Hopefully visiting Torrevieja in the very near future, so this sort of report is great! Would be cool to meet up with you both for a bite to eat and a glass of wine and pick your brains. As you know we have lived here in Spain for years but we are very interested to find out more info on Torre from you. 🥰
Shame, had to leave our seats outside the Celtic Drop listening to their singer the other week when the band came on downstairs in Legends as it drowned him out. Went upstairs to the Seaview and listened to their singer for the simple fact it was the only place you could sit outside and hear just one singer. Nothing wrong with any of the singers or bands but together they are just a cacophony of irritating noise!
Ah That’s a real shame! It’s hard for the bar owners. Most of them just want a successful centre for all to enjoy. We still love it though!! We’ll be back soon!

I wouldn’t cancel your meal. It doesn’t happen all the time and most of the bar owners are trying to sort it out. Gong definitely worth the visit.
I never went to it but others speak well of the Nautilus, may be worth checking
