~Tapping into Your Potential Where Others Saw None~ - Видеоклипы
Eddie has an amazing voice. He's an even better human. We should all feel fortunate to be living in the same era as Eddie.
The words here are so important. He's singing to his father that passed away before he knew him. Real father was also a singer. His mother told him his step-dad was his biological dad. They did not get along.
i know John!!!!! he’s such a great guy, i’ve camped out with him in many GA lines and man what a wonderful human being. wow it gave me goosebumps when i saw this was John’s version. LONG LIVE JOHN EVANS
PJ’s best song ever imo
Yes...
Not sure if you can keep this answer for so long...
At least my case, when I hear 1 song of this band...I said is my favourite one...and then next song to the infinite
Pearl Jam's "Man of the Hour" is too beautiful to miss out on. My husband played this song so much after his dad passed away in 2013. I would listen with him and just feel what he felt.
From big fish movie...
Awesome song. Been to 12 Pearl Jam shows. One of the greatest live bands to ever do it.
Absolutely LOVE this song. It's never gotten enough attention. Do yourself a favor and listen to studio version. Put your headphones on, lean back and close your eyes...
According to the set list Release was the 3rd song out of 30 songs played at that sold out show in the baseball stadium. I would follow their entire tour if I could afford it... Some fans do...
The live shows are an experience. Each set is different every single time. No two concerts are alike. Makes each one special. My favorite band easily.
Pearl Jam - Better man live in Madison Square Garden.
The crowd totally takes over the song
I love Eddie! His voice….🥰
You must see them live if you get lost in music. The best I've seen live! Eddy loses consciousness when he sings (look for clips when his eyes roll back). Definitely one of the most passionate bands ever. My Mum hates the music but reads their lyrics, she thinks they are philosophers. Pearl Jam have saved more lives than any Dr as their words are so powerful. I don't know where I would be without them. I live by their lyrics. One of my favourites in this song (which is tattooed on hundreds of arms), "I'll ride the wave where it takes me". Enjoy your Pearl Jam journey!!! 💗🎶💗
Edit* Sorry, this is not my opinion place, it's yours. But this is what you get from true Pearl Jam fans if you talk about them 😅 They are an addiction 😅
SO HAPPY TO SEE MUSIC AGAIN!
Love Pearl Jam... great pick here Van.
My favorite band. That's sayin a freaking whole - LOT!!! EDDDDDDDDIE! HELLLLLLLL YEAH!!!!! Great reaction!!!!!!!
Even when I was younger, and this came out, I hardly ever heard many Pearl Jam songs on the radio. Nirvana was played a fair amount. So, I'm glad you're reacting to them. They have some great songs.
This is how they opened the show I went to in Copenhagen last month. good god, chills all over .
Eddie Chicago.
Heard this concert through my window in '16.
He put a new album out about a month ago Eddie Vedder and the Earthlings the first song called Invincible is a really cool tune. ✌️
My Brother cloud is great too
Pearl Jam's the truth Van.
Good pick man.
I really enjoyed this one!
Seriously. I know this was a few months ago and it was on a live stream, but it is an all time great f’in song. Listen to the album version from Ten, and tell me you wouldn’t want Jojo to anthem this piece. Be at peace son, be yourself, but like me somehow. Amazing song. There is a reason why thousands of people sing along to this song that was never released on the radio.
My favorite pearl jam song
Man, youve been popping up in my feed lately and ive been enjoying your shows....then i saw this!! Im not bragging, there are many that have been to far more than me, but Ive seen Pearl Jam play in 14 states, 8 countries, and 3 continents. The 4 shows i have tickets to in September will mark my 55th show. I continue to ride the wave where it takes me....
Saw both Wrigley field shows in 18. Nothing compares to singing along with 40k other fans, I'm not religious but it feels almost spiritual for lack of a better term
Experiencing this song live with 40k people is a truly cathartic experience
The guy waited 4 days to get in the front. He lost his dad and Eddie heard about it and dedicated the song to him. The song is about Eddie’s dad who died , he thought his stepdad was his dad. He found out after his dad passed. This song is about him singing to his dad…dad can you see me? I’m like you somehow 😢
john is such a lovely lovely human being. i was so so fortunate to meet him camping out in the Quebec City GA line in 2016. The Pearl Jam community is so loving it brings a tear to my eye.
Me at 0:43 "just you wait my man" At 4:00 & 6:15 "yup...there it is" :-) great, great song...so much emotion in the room every single time they play it live...
This is THE song that every fan prays for at a show
if they open with it, you know its going to be an amazing show.
LISTEN TO "BETTERMAN" BY PEARL JAM AT THE SAME VENU..LIVE AT WRIGLEY FIELD!! IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND..THE AUDIENCE PRACTICALLY SINGS THE WHOLE SONG! IT'S SO COOL..GIVES YOU GOOSEBUMPS! ❤😊
One of their many greats! Thanks Van for doing this!
My pleasure!
My father is alive and this songs still makes he she a great the raw emotion and build up in the song and eddies voice is amazing
I was at this concert!
Pearl Jam MTV unplugged black can't be missed.
Good work Man 😀 im from Montréal and Pearl Jam crowd are the best ive seem 🥰.
Was at that show. Great experience.
"I'll hold the pain... release me"
I love peArl jam.. I'm from a reservation..love you Eddie 😀😎❤️❤️
BTW... That's Matt Cameron on drums. He's also played drums with Soundgarden.
This song is epic! 🔥 Vibes, for sure! Passion. Can’t help but get fired up hearing this.
Thank you sir ,peace and love is all we need
Oh shit he’s back on music!! Let’s go!
I’ll ride the wave….WHERE IT TAKES MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
CHILLS….
Amen brother!!! Generations to come will know them or of them 🤘😎🤘
Ah! Drumroll from Matt Cameron! (Drummer of Soundgarden)
Love this song
Holland 92 is the best version, but this is great, as always for the best band of the nineties
I think this is the best version. By far. Everyone has a different opinion.
Another Jam! 🔥🔥🔥 Nice edits
They’ve got a song yWish List. If you were a famous rock star, what would you wish for??? It’s amazing!!
Keep in mind this is Eddie like 30+ years after his prime. And he still sounds incredible.
I agree, back during "ten" eddie was just on a different level than most of his "grunge" counterparts, same can be said for chris cornell
Young Eddie was amazing but I would probably give the nod to older Eddie as far as which one I prefer. Chills man...
Holland 1992 version is the best version of this song mate
It doesn't get Eddie Vedder than this.
Better Man live react please! The audience singing to him the first verse is so beautiful!!
No sorry on the drum roll.
You even listen to what he said??
Thanks for covering this. Such a deep song live. Seen them 35 times.
