    I’m not going to lie-I just now learned how each state’s Electoral College votes are calculated thanks to Max Towey.

      It is in the Constitution. It is telling that the founding document is not taught in the schools nor is it required rereading.

      @ thank you Mr. Know-It-All 🙄 I’m sure you have every word of the Constitution memorized forwards and backwards.

    If they tie by seats they should just give it to the popular vote

    "Candidates will just camp out in urban areas" later in the video: "that's why the candidates are campaigning in mostly 5 swing states" nah fuck the electoral college it suppresses the popular vote

      Good lmao, like he said out of touch city dwellers shouldn’t be allowed to decide who the president is and tank the country because they don’t understand any of the world outside of their own bubble

      Those five swing states have such different areas and places and people that they basically represent the whole country.

      but half of those states have quite prominent rural populations

    Land shouldn't be able to vote, people live in cities... the electoral college is just supressing the urban vote

      Why should only urban voice be heard?

    • @thesentientflame8880
      @thesentientflame8880 27 дней назад +1

      @@dogguy8603Every voice should be heard, equally, unlike the current system which values each vote differently depending on which state you live in.

    • @CyberSonic157
      @CyberSonic157 27 дней назад

      No, the electoral college is good because it prevents tyranny of the majority, and it allows all voices to be heard. People live in country lands too, not just cities.

      @linkplays2952 27 дней назад

      that's not what is best for the country though. also you're acting like wyoming has a large impact on the electoral college. More then half the states are guaranteed red but republicans still start off with like 10 less electoral votes.
