TC2 isn't perfect, but the devs are so passionate about the game, love it.
The huge map is really one of The Crews biggest strengths and I hope they get back to it in future installments. No other racing game offers super long, cross country races like this and I was kind of sad that Crew 2 didnt really even take advantage of it with only having a handful of hypercar races that are longer.
Yea I'm worried crew 3 isn't going go be as good cause the map is to small

I actually did a race recently thanks to this "community event creator" and it was a blast, not sure it was coast to coast but I enjoyed driving my Aston Martin Vanquish over such a long distance.

The west coast drive you talked about. I wanna do that too one day. I believe its called the PCH, the pacific coast highway its the 2nd largest highway in America. With the longest one being in Montana. Also I hear driving in a certain area in Los Angeles you can see the entire city in your sight. It has a great view at night time.
I'm gonna miss the huge map in Motorfest. I hope they make a proper crew 3 with the whole of America.
There's a mod map for Asseto Corsa of the PCH, supposed the be very accurate

speaking of nfs the run idk how true it is but according to crew 2 wiki the new york race is a direct reference to the run except it's route is in reverse though it sounds like a stretch

My issue is there are no Ai to race, the rewards are lower than base races and having your races findable are impossible as the top one's are always at top with no random switching or find random.
This is amazing. My only nitpick was that it should have open to every car so I can run it with my favorite car. Not just a hypercar

actually i wouldn't mind USA map for future crew games, yeah motorfest is in hawaii which i'm cool with, but if they keep the original USA map and add new states and better graphics ( the crew 2 graphics is god awful ) with every installment i think everyone would be fine.

I have so many memories doing the PERF coast to coast street race events in the original Crew using the perf GTR. I was disappointed when I got The Crew 2 and noticed they went a different direction with the game and these races didn't exist. The closest was the Hypercar events but half of them didn't even have traffic. Definitely going to make some events in street race cars and maybe even race cars because street racing in GT cars is kind of badass.

you should definitely look into the Cannonball run for some inspiration on another race like this. it was a coast to coast, new york to california, race that was help privately. there was even a movie about it.
Goldberg had a show on Spike TV called Bullrun that was essentially that, checkpoint to checkpoint with different challenges along the way.

I have a race called The American Grand Prix on Playstation. Starts at player house in Miami and then goes up to New York, then to Detroit then to Chicago down to Salt Lake City, then onto to Vegas from vegas go northwest to come in front of Seattle then down to San Fran and then from there to LA, from LA you go to Dallas up to Nashville and then down to New Orleans, from there go through tampa and back down to where race began in Miami. My Validation time was 1 hour and 4 min.

As a person who actually lives in the United States, the map featured in this game is about 20% the size of the the real thing.
Driving from coast to coast in the real United States would take MUCH longer. The U.S. is a freakishly HUGE country.

The moment I heard they where adding custom races I had 1 idea in my head. Once they finally added the update the first thing I did was remake the Long beach California race track, it’s one of my fav and there was actually a mission for it in TC1. Idk why they diddnt add it in TC2 but now it’s there. Now if only I could place props to make it look the part

FYI Pantsman Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is the fastest, unless you have the current Motorpass Bugatti, then it's the fastest. Jesko is garbo in crew 2 compared to those two.

THIS is why im not excited about Motorfest. We had SOOOO much fun doing cross country runs and cruises on TC2. I heard it takes 8 to 10 mins to cross the new Motorfest map. Thats not whats up to me. Ppl say TC2 had open spaces and in some spots lackluster environment visuals and i get that. Thats where updating and new tech comes in. They could have easily expanded and added more areas of detail or at minimum another large space map.
Other than that, a crew size of 4... with up to 7-8 with manipulation and constant friends disappearing when going into other areas, ISNT whats up for a car game where most car enthusiasts and groups of ppl have numbers of friends. Crew size bare minimum should be 10.... if not adding servers to where ppl could link up with friends in number exclusively.
I’m gonna have to redownload this and play it again. I wish I could just start from scratch on it as well.
Also tell your American that Mount Rushmore is in South Dakota haha.
