I have ridden the 1st gen Dukes and the newer gen ones. I always felt the first gen bikes felt like they breathed a lot more freely than the current ones. I liked the exhaust note of the older models than the current ones whch for whatever reason feels stifled. Maybe that's not the case and it's just how I feel due to different exhaust note.
