  • Hit Strips V10 in Chattanooga Tennessee.
    Didn't do much talking in this vid but don't think it quite makes the list. Certainly, an incredible feature and very beautiful- everyone should check it! Fairly sharp grips, mud landing, and some hollow holds and alternate starts / lines. I first saw this when Rami posted some photos on his story pre-FA. So badass!! The South!!!

    did you climb on wet sandstone?

      Southern sandstone isn’t water soluble

      southern sandstone is built different but it isn't unbreakable as some people think. In this instance, the holds out left were wet from runoff from the side of the boulder, but the holds deep within the roof which we were climbing on were fine.

      @@eric.jerome It isn't unbreakable, but the glue that holds the sand together isn't water soluble like it is out west. Every route at the Red gets yarded on 1000s of times a year while wet, and that rock is substantially shittier than the stuff further south.
