No predictions as to the future power stats but I do predict a buggered engine if you go wading through floods… you’re braver than me!
Buggered engine already, it’s not a Honda and can’t last long on high power.

Happy for you being the developement car for est, which means everything is free and we mortals have to wait months and pay thousands to get a nut and parts. You can afford to pay at least.
With stock internals 650HP, but with torque limited below 700Nm and even lower at low RPM. Nothing to do with fuel pumps, etc, simply based on this being a 2.0L.
It’s winter now why put loads of power on it so it’s undriveable
Make on the mirrors a yellow stripe and the sides of the spoiler yellow i think it wil look amazing

Good luck with this project. The previous generation A45 turned out to be a big tuning disappointment (I know personally) so I hope this goes well.
If you want a crazy fast tuning car in that market, the DAZA RS3 is a proven monster and easy to get to a mid 10 second quarter car on stage 2 E85. Full frame turbos then take them past hyper street car territory
Just curious what was the main issue holding back the a45?. I considered one myself at one point but ended up going for a golf r.
There are varying stories of what but I would start with its only a 4 pot, it doesn’t respond well to ethanol, methanol did bugger all, launch control really sucked, cooling issues - I went full on with mine and tried everything- just a waste of money in the end. I am now happy with a 9.5 second rs3 and didn’t even go full frame turbo, which are guaranteed 8 second street cars on street tyres from IROZ - just monsters
where did you get your RS tuned? can we see the full setup anywhere
I'd assume merc and AMG already got near enough to the power limits of the engine hence why it may be difficult adding lumps of power. Unless forging the engine 🤔

I would put it on 650. Interesting to see what the stock block takes before upgrading the rods and pistons but seriously good luck with build, now that TCU is unlocked. Trust me higher torque limits are fun
Rods and Pistons are forged from factory, pretty much safe until 700-750bhp I would say.

I have a MK2 A45 AMG that was done by EST Performance, it has a Littco 550 Hybrid and Meth Injection and its running 550bhp and 650nm. EST really know their stuff i travelled 12hr round trip to get mine done. These engines are forged at factory i was told which is why they can be pushed so hard. The limiting factor is now the gearbox i believe despite the MK2 TCU being unlocked many years ago. Mine obviously has the TCU mapped. Can't wait to see what they can do with the MK3 if anything as there isnt much difference in the engine?
Anything less than your M140 will be deemed as a failure
Depends on the turbo's, can hit 700-800bhp stock engine. Without turbo upgrade 600-650?

I can retro weld correct size fittings on to larger intercoolers. Much better. But no demand for it. And when you tell people base cost is 900 pounds, plus cutting down and re welding correct size fittings is gonna be touching 2k you see why. Lol

Nothing ends well with a small engine and high power, especially post factory added power.

Get some E85, even just for a single tank (or a few when you can get the stuff) to see what it can really do when you are able to advance the timing. You probably need to do injectors. Do these have port and DI's?

With proper race fuel, 670/680 id say 👍 ... unless he starts putting nitrous in which I highly doubt given that he's in the UK 😂
Well the fastest last gen one in the UK has 630bhp and was for daily use, few tweaks making it 670bhp, so expecting higher with new gen and it's alot stronger too due to sharing parts with e63s. 750bhp would be end goal.

It depends on how drivable you want to keep it. And... of course cooling upgrades. If you want to keep it reasonably drivable in the way of turbo size, and with cooling upgrades... I would say 650 ish....
What are the 60 130 (100-200) times for this at stage 2? Low 7s?
