    Cool tut. How do you "flip flop" columns if you created them on the wrong side? In the old Wix editor there was a button to switch the columns.

    Great video Jesse! But as I watch tutorials like this, I'm always struck by the fact that they always start out with a great design and lots of images assets as you did in this video. That's my sticking point. I can build the page you built with any tool, whether it's Wix Studio, Webflow, WeWeb, Framer, or whatever. But I'm not an experienced designer so I don't have a great design to work from and what I end up building always looks sub-par. As they say, garbage in, garbage out. What's more, I can't yet afford to pay a designer to design all of the portfolio sites I need to build to attract clients. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks!

    Hi Jesse... tools tools tools galore... what's your cliff notes take on Wix Studio vs Framer? Again, thanks for you sharing knowledge and keeping us up on things. Hadn't heard of this and it popped in my feed so I was wait hold on.

      I'm in a similar space... I just found out about Wix Studio and I'm blown away by it, but it's a bummer because I JUST really got into Framer and now I'm pretty torn.

    Great vid..... Is it possible to make a repeater section that has a filter menu? For example if I want to show a list of creatives (designers, art directors, writers, etc) and I wanted to give the user the choice to only view the designers, could they click a menu item "designers" and it will only show designers?
    I'm basically trying to make a standard list that can be filtered via menu.
    If not, is there another way to do this?

      you don't need to use a repeater for that....if you want it super customised, you can add your own containers for each filter, shape it like those cards that are in repeaters and then add 3-4 texts(the filters) and click one of the text, go to the properties on the right, go to the interactions at the right, go to click and instead of itself, choose the corresponding container and add any effect...so that when someone clicks that text, the corresponding container only shows u and not the other ones....
      or if you want basic, no hassle option, on the left add elements section, go to the layout tool section and choose tabs and choose one from them...

      Yes I do this a lot. Make your repeater - connect all elements to you CMS. Add an input field to the page, such as drop down or checkboxes, connect to the CMS, and this will filter your content

    Did they straight up copy paste Webflow?

    • @bianciaakers
      @bianciaakers 6 месяцев назад

      No. Before Wix Studio there was Editor X which have similar features but now it’s improved. Webflow was always a much harder learning curve than Editor X now Wix Studio. I think Jesse has a video on it from years ago.

      @@bianciaakers I meant the UI layout. Compare the two UIs. As far as how they work and what features they offer they are different, but the general layout of the tools is the same.
      I don't have a horse in the race btw, I'm not like Webflow is the best or anything, I was just making an observation.

      @@TheMarouuuthat makes sense. Now that you mention it I think a lot of editors have the same layout. 😊

      @@bianciaakers Pretty much yeah. Only Wordpress still rocks that semi-usable Block Editor UI :)
