Could I know if I'm on the right track? The timeline: 1: In .Eons a member of a highly advanced civilization on a mission to document alien culture and history witnesses civilizations rise and fall over geological time periods. At the end of .Eons they travel to the planet of |Re| |Union|. 2: Robots are granted human rights future version of Earth in The Anonymous Artist. 3: The events of This_feeling_is_a_cliché, Chinatown Blues, probably this song, and Ride on Time if it’s canon occur on an Earth where robots and humans have equal rights. 4: A ship is sent by the people of Earth through “The Triangle” encountering the planet from |Re| |Union|, and taking Pia’s body back to Earth. 5: In the events of the song World.rar III Earth is destroyed in a violent war. (This is also shown by robots deconstructing weapons.) 6: “The Triangle” creates the Cartographer to keep the memories of the past and resurrect past robots (and maybe humans?) and put them in new robot bodies. They begin a mass construction project to put the Earth back in its proper orbit powered by The Bearer of the Heart. My main question is what is “The Triangle”, who made it, and what does it want? I think the advanced civilization from .Eons made it because it visually resembles the technology they use, and they seem motivated to preserve civilizations. Also according to a date listed in The Anonymous Artist (2231) it happens after Chinatown Blues (2184), but that doesn't make sense to me because the robots are treated like people. I think that might have just been a mistake.
I commented this on the teaser for this song but I figure if anyone else is interested in the lore of these songs they’d have a better chance of finding it here.
This is awesome, with the years of secretly building a grand connecting story, I’m so glad someone is looking into it and attempting to decipher. There’s a great correlation to The Triangle and it’s meaning to the Robots’ sentience. And in regards to The Autonomous Artist and Gumi’s Retroverse timeline, if you’ve watched [SELF], it has the biggest clues that there’s multiple universes and timelines going on, implied through the many iterations of M0N1TOR that we see. But there’s parallels in each universe. Aspects of data or function that seem to always be the same. Makes you wonder why the M0N1TOR of [SELF] witnesses brief glimpses of her iterations just in that universe specifically. The shape of the Planetary Tether provides clues too, not just in shape repetition, but in sequence. It’s all entwined together at the start, separates and diverges as it goes down, and it all comes back together at the end. Though that’s all I can provide for now ;)
