I never understood the reasoning behind putting Black and his team in a super max prison when they don't have powers. They aren't super geniuses, they're literally only human now. Shouldn't a regular prison be enough? Excellent movie, though.
People can still find ways to kill other people, in a regular prison. The Elite would still think their fellow prisoners were worth killing. But, in a super max prison, The Elite won’t be able to kill anyone ever again.
It's probably a holdover from the comic where (due to the potential of them coming back) they didn't permanantly lose their powers, the super max prison including power dampeners and whatnkt
What does he mean "look at this place"? Superman didn't do that; Manchester did. Superman never said he was better than anyone else. Superman just likes doing the right thing. Why do people assume that people who like doing the right thing think they are better than everyone else. The reality is they just have a higher moral standard.
Yeah... as if Batman can beat bloodlusted Superman. And that's including prep time. Supes will simply speed blitz Bats. Or heat vision him from several galaxies away.
I once saw a version of this video where the guy added his own comments to the scenes in form of subtitles, making it funnier. Like when Chester "crushed" Supes by the debris and relaxingly breathed out,the guy commented like "Relaxing? He took an explosion of the sun to the face and lived, really thinking some debris is more dangerous?"
Bruce: phew, you got me Clark Alfred: Master Bruce, are you going to put all the kryptonite away? Bruce: what? *looks around to the dozens of kryptonite around his desk* Ohh yeah...
One of the few times that Superman took on the role of using fear to prevent outright killing. Something Batman is basically known for. It was either the fear mongering act or outright playing thier game of killing. Clark basically saw the former as a lesser of two scenarios. Because instilling fear into his villains isn't what he's normally used to.
this lesson hits deep, if an overpowered villain pushes the hero too far, the hero has no choice but to go instant kill just like the villain, but before crossing the line always come prepared with back up to keep the civilians safe from your destruction, and superman displayed what would happen if he'd ever decided to cross over into violence
“Yes, they did see. They saw the ugliness of violence as a solution and it frightened them. It frightened me too when I decided to cross that line and do what you do. It's so easy. Anger, vengeance. Luckily, I'm not you. And I never will be.”

Plenty of non powered criminals in a super max. They’re lucky it’s not Gitmo or the phantom zone
You know dceu could've been better if they at least watched their animated movies...
@@lamsaidthetrue2238 as if I haven't heard that argument millions of times already.
Bruce: Heh.. That was a good acting Clark
Alfred holding a huge chunk of kryptonite: Should I put this back to the safe, master Bruce?
"Where did he go??"
"Orbit. He went into Orbit at Mach 7"
One of my favorite lines from Superman
People tend to forget about Superman's robot army. Even the writers
Yeah... as if Batman can beat bloodlusted Superman. And that's including prep time. Supes will simply speed blitz Bats. Or heat vision him from several galaxies away.
best superman show
"HE'S GOT ROBOTS NOW!?"
"he's got robots now."
Why are you showing us things that you deleted in crisis on infinite arts?😢
“Orbit, he went into orbit at mach 7.”
I can’t stop thinking about that being Sephiroth saying that. This VA does such a good job.
I love superman
Superman Is in his Bag Manchester doesn't stand a chance
Bruce: phew, you got me Clark
Alfred: Master Bruce, are you going to put all the kryptonite away?
Bruce: what? *looks around to the dozens of kryptonite around his desk* Ohh yeah...
Hey. Look at that, The first time I see Superman with pinkeye.
Should've called him London Black, ain't no Manchester in that accent
We need a big blue like this in the movie theatre!
Giving him some love taps at the end lol
One of the few times that Superman took on the role of using fear to prevent outright killing. Something Batman is basically known for. It was either the fear mongering act or outright playing thier game of killing. Clark basically saw the former as a lesser of two scenarios. Because instilling fear into his villains isn't what he's normally used to.
He said he wasn't aiming for his face, and then absolutely aimed for his face. His brain is behind his face lol
this lesson hits deep, if an overpowered villain pushes the hero too far, the hero has no choice but to go instant kill just like the villain, but before crossing the line always come prepared with back up to keep the civilians safe from your destruction, and superman displayed what would happen if he'd ever decided to cross over into violence
Do you think when superman popped the thing in that guys brain that gave him powers he also eliminated any tumors he might've had?
Such a film should defo be the 2nd installment to Legacy or the 3rd film.
It was at this moment that Batman was halfway out the batcave with a Kryptonite arsenal
Good lesson. Probably could have taught it without destroying half a city and ruining people's lives but the message is nice
Back when DC animations were good.
Thats great Superman, with all these robots, the people are safe.
Now, who's going to fix all the damage caused to the city!?
Will always be my favorite hero, as Kal-El in Hebrew means "praise God" Jerry and Joel believed in God.
See, this is one of the BIG reasons the synderverse failed. Zack failed to understand who Superman truly was.
Nice try at manipulation and gaslighting tactics. How much is Warner paying you? Or you just a bot... 🤔
@@handsuporillshoot381 just someone who’s not caught up in the past, and not some shill for a massively overrated director.
exactly
I've been saying for years that they need to take this story and All Star Superman and mesh them together to make a live action movie.
