On github, there is an error that says "Domain does not resolve to the GitHub Pages server." What should I do? I followed all your steps. Btw, your vid was very straightforward and everything else seems to work for me! Thanks!
According to the message it appears like you haven't pointed your domain correctly to GitHub Pages. Are you using Namecheap as your Domain name host? Also thank you for that! I always try to keep my videos as short and as straight forward as possible without the filler for my viewers.
I have an issue, it says that my domain name and alternate name is improperly configured. I just did the record thing with the CNAME and A record, do I wait for all the changes to take effect? Thanks
Nicely done! Is it possible to make changes in github the same way the pages were initially uploaded to the repository? That is by dragging a new index.html file for example. Would that automatically replace the existing file with the same name and show live on the website after?
Yup it's possible! and thank you very much! I recommend downloading and installing Github Desktop. I will add that to the list of videos to make but it's very straight forward to use. Please give this video a Like and Subscribe to support me as a content creator Dominick I would really appreciate it!
It just says "2020 Copyright All Rights Reserved. The Sponsored Listings displayed above are served automatically by a third party seller......" It doesn't show my actual github pages site
Nice video! Thanks!! Do you still have to buy a host in namecheap? I did all the steps, an it shows me that all is well setted, but when entering in the namecheap page, it says: This site can't be reached, refused to connect
I already had a github account, so I followed your instructions and made it site.github.io. However, for my published page, it's showing up as username.github.io/site.github.io/ How do I make it so it's just site.github.io. I am making a website for free kids readers and can't pay for a domain. I don't mind github being in the name of the site.
Buy your first .COM with Namecheap namecheap.pxf.io/c/1245219/408750/5618

just a basic question, why there are four different A records 😅🤔
It just says "2020 Copyright All Rights Reserved. The Sponsored Listings displayed above are served automatically by a third party seller......" It doesn't show my actual github pages site

Thanks for the tutorial, just confused about the Host Record number list. Does everyone use the same numbers you have listed above?
Hi loannnify, I am glad you found the video helpful. That's correct its the same for everyone as you are pointing your domain to GitHubs servers.
whats the @ record all about and why am I putting stranger's IP address
Great video!
Any advice on troubleshooting? When I click my published link, I am redirected to a blank white page...
Thanks for your kind words, it takes a while for your domain to propagate/point to GitHub. My advice would be to be patient.
Thanks worked for me! :)
You're welcome!
You already had a TXT Record in your domain, what is that used for?
Hi Luis, that TXT host record is not required for this guide and has no impact.
