Another great video. I am new to your channel and binge watched you over the weekend. You have a great voice, cadence, and very good at showing and explaining things. I just retired and getting my house ready to sell in horrible CA, then will be getting some small camper because I miss camping so much. Thanks again for your videos and look forward to mane more.
I recently purchased the TOPDON car starter using your link. I went camping this week and got to use it to help a guy in the campground start his van after he ran down his battery. Everything about the unit feels solid and it worked great!
Thank you so much for circling back with the feedback, that means a lot. I think I even mentioned in this video, but nine times out of 10 you’re helping somebody else with these… much easier and safer that jumper cables.
You are are an excellent teacher! Gotta get the blanket and propane detector! Can’t wait for always the next vid! Something, I had on my list to watch was a/the vid that shows how you created an easy battery removal disconnect using I think Anderson connectors? Can you point me to that vid - can’t find it! Thanks much for all you do.
Thanks for watching! I talk about that set up in a few videos, but I think this one addresses it the most. Using Goal Zero for RV Battery ruclips.net/video/_MRIg0Szh-0/видео.html

Hey Marty, happy new year! Since I did that video with sticks, the market has gone crazy. It’s really hard to keep up with prices, they change daily. Those blankets are awesome. When they first starting making camping blankets i thought is was a joke. now I supply them in all my rentals during the cold months. Great Vid Brother!
I have a pair of those pants that a fleece lined with pockets on the thighs and they are great. The shed the water and keep you warm. I liked them so well that I bought another pair in black. Great purchase. Thanks for the recommendation, Pat
As a backpacker I liked the Petzl, but I have been using Nightcore NU25 and of all the lamps that I have used, this is my favorite. One thing that I LOVE is that it gives you the option to double tap the power button and get a 1 lumen light or there is a completely separate button for the red light. You do not have to cycle through the bright light to get to the 1 lumen or red light you want.
The second button for red light is huge! This one is a long press, much better than covering the light to avoid losing night vision. Thanks for swinging by!
Great Video! Damon immediately pulled out his phone to check out the tbmpoy gear. The gas detector is a pretty cool item. Thanks for bringing us more gear to consider! Only becuase you asked, this is one of my favorite finds. Their value is based on price and how well they work for us and our set up. Solar shatterproof edison lights. We like them for our canopy. You can also charge them in the house, 12v battery or PPS with a wall charger. They claim 30+hours run time off of a full charge. I have run them for 26 hours and they still showed no signs of dying. Only down side in my opinion, they are a little bulky. Some people may not like the fact they cant turn them red to avoid attracting bugs. Normally they are $65. I purchased them on a cyber monday for $17.99, but they often have sales between $20-30. Many friends and family have picked them up on our recommendation and are enjoying them for their backyards or camping adventures. www.amazon.com/KYY-Outdoor-Waterproof-Shatterproof-Heavy-Duty/dp/B09NR69TWS?pd_rd_w=cxS67&content-id=amzn1.sym.e3c57661-e58b-4056-99f2-4f3bd38ca08c&pf_rd_p=e3c57661-e58b-4056-99f2-4f3bd38ca08c&pf_rd_r=7FNZAZ4KPC6SWVGBCD6J&pd_rd_wg=6zIWX&pd_rd_r=9f5a74b6-4f2b-4bed-b192-92e332ed70eb&pd_rd_i=B09NR69TWS&psc=1&ref_=pd_basp_bia_rpt_ba_s_2_sc
I love those! I have a set from a different brand that comes with a mini solar panel. I feature them in my memorial day video, as well as a few videos I haven’t released yet…. Pretty cool stuff!
That puffy blanket looks mighty tempting! I might also go for that propane gas detector - a definite winner! PS - Can you put that acorn hit on an outtake loop? 😄
All of these are great recommendations! There are a few I'll have to try out! I'm definitely looking for some quality outdoor clothes at a good price. Along with a car starter you have to have a tire inflator, like a small air compressor. I use mine all the time! I have an Astro Al which has been great for me but it's honestly the only one I've owned so I'm far from a connoisseur. Keep putting out these vids! I didn't get a notification for this one but I'm still subbed.
Thank you so much for watching! make sure to click the bell symbol for notifications. That pump is an excellent idea, I talk about it in an older video. I will have to include a 12V pump in my next gear review 100%
Possibly of designing a portable Truma propane heater ….not built in to a teardrop . Small stand and wx proof cover then running air hose and thermostat through window insert . Basically all the advantages of a propane heater with thermostat with not having to installing in the trailer 😊
Haha… let’s see what I can do. I would have to get my hands on the gear, I can’t afford to buy an extra furnace for the video. I might be able to work something out though, I really love those new trumas. Have you seen the video I did with Mike in New Mexico? Next level Bushwhacker (I’ll try to post). He did an exterior diesel heater and a waterproof case. We could do something similar to that with a propane Truma.
@@DIYOutdoorLife I’ll look for the vid saw something about propane inducing moisture as apposed to diesel not sure about that , but if I never go below 20 degrees I might be over thinking this , jolooco has solved the hot water shower question so manage electricity and just rely on heated blankets 🤔
Brian all of your videos are great information. Would you consider doing a video for / about weekend campers that only need / want a solar setup to maintain a single battery during a week or two between camping trips when no shore power is available. I think many of us don’t boon-dock but can utilize the prepped features of our campers. Thank you Jay

The top vent? What brand is it?
You can always take a photo of it and email it to me, happy to help .
