To be honest, I practice playing the piano when I lose my Father this March 2020, I wasn't able to see him at his last moment since, I am working overseas and I am not allowed to go home due to the current pandemic around the world. Simplified piano's tutorials really encourage me that I can do this. That I can play the piano even though I didn't have any musical background. I practice this song to offer as my gift for my parents on there 30th Wedding Anniversary last April 2020. I know in my heart, that my Father is so proud of me while im playing this song. And I'm so grateful to this channel because I made my Mother smile again after watching my first even piano. I'm not a singer and pianist, I'm just doing this to overcome grief and hoping that I can still make my Father smile up there in heaven.

I'm 62 and just started learning the piano 3 months ago. I have been feeling like I am not learning fast enough, but I am finding out its a slow process. For some reason I am really good at the triads though. This tutorial gives me the opportunity to actually play a song with ease. It has inspired me to keep going! Thank you so much for your lessons. You may be surprised by the lives you touch via your piano lessons, as well as the skills you transfer. A year ago i could (thanks to you) chord only with the right hand; now the left hand does the same with little difficulty while my right hand surprisingly simultaneosly improvises. By sticking to my weekly piano lesson routine i can now play at least 20 worship songs with correct speed and timing, and my ears also start to pick up notes of sounds. I am still surprised at my self and deep down, i feel i am only at the beginning of my surprises. So grateful to you. Thank You!!

You're very welcome! I typically teach most of my songs in the Key of C since that's the easiest way to learn to play the piano. I'm not sure what the original key is in, sorry!
i could be wrong i believe the original key is B from when i learnt this on guitar. i play it in C on the piano it's kind of strange switching keys and instruments but i'm used to it. you can play whatever key you want if you know the music theory just make the chords the equivalent of the key you want.

I watched your video and was impressed on the simplified chord structure. I am going to watch it again and attempt to learn the song. i learnt by doing block chords then once i learnt the sequence i added some double block chords like in the first and third line of the verse i like to repeat Am but then i started adding in the together and right together right and it was effective for me

i also wanted to ask that is this version made specifically in the key of C?....is the original key different? if yes can you make a tutorial for this song in the original key?
You're very welcome! I typically teach most of my songs in the Key of C since that's the easiest way to learn to play the piano. I'm not sure what the original key is in, sorry!
i could be wrong i believe the original key is B from when i learnt this on guitar. i play it in C on the piano it's kind of strange switching keys and instruments but i'm used to it. you can play whatever key you want if you know the music theory just make the chords the equivalent of the key you want.
This video comes magically to me and now this song became the first song I've played on Piano!!!! What a nice teaching!

i learnt by doing block chords then once i learnt the sequence i added some double block chords like in the first and third line of the verse i like to repeat Am but then i started adding in the together and right together right and it was effective for me
