Hey Vinny, so, I was listening to this on my iPhone speakers and, even with RUclips’s compression, I could still hear a noticeable difference. I gotta say I prefer the sound of the 2x10 but the 1x8 definitely didn’t sound bad by any means. On a related note, did you hear that Slash recently announced a signature Magnatone amp? A lot of people jumped to the conclusion that he was leaving Marshall for Magnatone, but it turns out, no, he’s going to keep playing Marshalls as well. And by the way, the bridge pickup in that Tele rips!!! Great tone and playing! 🤘

I have to say the little 8” speaker in this thing is not bad at all. The 2x10 brought it to another level. In the room it sounds so good. I think this amp is great with pedals. The LsL is a great guitar. I have two of them. I have them both up for sale on Reverb at the moment. Trying to downsize and also get funds up to try other stuff.
Yeah I did hear about the Slash thing. The Magnatone amps rock. I would love to get their 15 watt head and cabinet rig. But it’s a bit too much money and frankly I only play at the house so I do not need the horsepower to be honest. Would still be cool to have though. ;).

@@VinnyTheAxe Do you think this little amp with 2x 10" Cabinet is enough for gigging with a drummer? Thank you

Yes the 8” on its own still sounds great. Eq is Apple and oranges from the 2x10, but as you noticed it has its own charm. I did see and hear the Slash Magnatone at the NAMM Show. It sounded great. The LSL Tele is for sale on my Reverb page for a great price. reverb.com/item/73810778-lsl-instruments-t-bone-one-butterscotch-flamed-maple-baked-neck?

@@thaloloom ahh I think if you don’t have a drummer that plays heavy handed you could probably be ok. Of course you would have to the drive the amp to it max volume. It would probably sound awesome. It it a very loud amp at 5 watts

Wow the starlite sounds amazing. Confirmed this by playing one locally
Also played a Victoria Ivy League. Hard to choose

Oh I have not played the Victoria, but the demos sound amazing. I was looking at them when checking out the Magnatone stuff.

The Victoria Ivy League is a Fender Harvard Clone so think of it as a Tweed Deluxe that stays clean almost all the way up the dial
Really lightweight amp but obviously doesn’t do the “Blackface” sound
Best clean tweed tone I’ve gotten to play in person tho so it’s a tough call
