Don’t worry about crying. We all get it. Not only is it a sad song, they sing it with all their heart. You can see the emotion on their faces and you can definitely hear it in their voices. Plus it has some of the most beautiful harmonies I’ve ever heard.

They actually recorded this song while sitting in a circle and recorded it together. Jade initiated it, but they kinda all just had a jam session and wrote the song in one sitting together.

(I think it was a soldier or something but I'm not sure) They were set to write really exciting or happy songs that day but the news downed the mood and all of them were thinking of how the wife of the dead person felt. They passed around a microphone and started pretty much talking about stuff that were hard for them and ended up practically freestyling a lot of the lyrics of the song. *This info is from an interview in 2013/2014 when they were asked about it. I've recently seen mixers saying that Jade wrote it about her grandfather's death . . . while it could be that she put some of the feelings of that into it that's not actually the story. The song she wrote with her grandfather in mind was Pretend It's Okay. All four of them wrote on that one but Jade has said that she put in a lot of her feelings about her grandfather in it.
