- Titles read: 'The City on the Wye - HEREFORD'.
Various shots of the city of Hereford showing the Cathedral and historical architecture near by. We see the 'Old House' - a timbered building from Elizabethan times. In Widemarsh Street there is the house where the famous actor David Garrick was born. Shots of Coningsby Hall, founded in 1614 for old-age pensioners inspired Hereford citizen Nell Gwyn to ask King Charles to build the Chelsea Hospital.
Several scenic shots of the River Wye and Kilpeck Church, built soon after the Norman Conquest. In Holmer we see an unusual church with a black and white timbered tower. Several shots of thatched cottages in surrounding villages and hamlets.
Note: this story slips out of rack in numerous places. If item is required you would probably have to go back to original film.
