Carter is taking over! LOL. I'm not sure where you are, but I pass at least 2 Carter trucks every day I'm on the road around metro Baltimore / Washington DC.....Ive also noticed that since I got out of a 550 chassis service truck and jumped up to bigger cabinets and 10K crane most of the other bigger service truck guys give a friendly wave in traffic...like I've joined the big boys club! LOL
Nice tour, great setup. I like your organization. What make is your Deutsch connector tool kit? I couldn't make it out. Looks like a good one and I've been looking for one. Thanks for putting this together!
Nice rig .. my boss can’t understand why I would need a crane on my truck , Finally got him to order a lube skid , the bucket brigade was getting old I’m the only mechanic and we have a crusher and power screen to recycle concrete back at our yard
Yep, you can easily get in debt with the tool trucks... I was in debt for around 44k back in 08 when the recession started.. I filed for bankruptcy chapter 7 to eliminate the tool debt. I still own the tools but I would have rather buy other brands much cheaper.
Cat had an excess of injuries a number of years ago due to hammer and drifts ( drifts with mushroomed ends) due to that made it so all metal on metal hammer would be disallowed unless under 4.5 lbs

I liked the Maintainer body when I worked for CAT but did not care for the crane controller. Preferred the IMT I ran before I left and went to Deere
They have updated the crane controls with very sensitive detent buttons and variable speed controls....but the level sensors will drive you crazy!!
Hi I work for Cat in the material handling division. Where did you get the vacuum transducer tool? Do you go through a dealer portal?
Part is through Cat, most dealers stock it!! Thanks for watching!!

Great video. Can you expand on the "no metal to metal contact under 4.5 lbs" ? Assuming thats a safety thing??
Cat had an excess of injuries a number of years ago due to hammer and drifts ( drifts with mushroomed ends) due to that made it so all metal on metal hammer would be disallowed unless under 4.5 lbs
@@slowaf12v Thanks!! Had not heard of that yet. Again, great video.
