I have one too and I flipped the rear shocks upside down and preloaded the collars half way and no preload on the front. For shock oil, I used Hoppe`s gun oil. Perfect viscosity.
Like and subbed. Also I just got mine and its the brushless one. All the settings are via Bluetooth which is awesome. Better than tweaking everything on the transmitter. I recommend upgrading to the furitek when you can.
Seriously, this is the single most useful video I've come across to help me become familiarised with my brushless Evo Pro. I'm new to crawling and it has been difficult to learn about the basics when many videos out there assume you already have a detailed knowledge about this hobby. Can't thank you enough!👍 I've already needed to replace the drive shafts [front broke] with metal replacements. I would like to know about the benefits of switching the drive shafts, if any. I tried it, but the front and rear wheels ended up turning in opposite directions, so I guess I'm doing something wrong. Thanks again!
@@Biolazard I'm glad I could help!!! So replacement of the driveshafts is going to help a ton and add weight. Lower weight is the key to a better crawling experience! 😉 So it sounds like you placed the driveshaft on the wrong output shaft, which is why your wheels are spinning opposite from the front. They put 2 output shafts on the transmission if you want to swap the rear differential to fight torque twist. ( The car lifting on one side) In order to do this you need a different rear axle that allows the differential gears to flip.
Hello, great video. Just got this rig few days ago. Picked up some brass wheel weights. Would you recommend fitting them just in the front wheels or in all four? Thank you
@@zorx5468 hey 👋 brass weights up front only. Brass wheels all 4. Keep the weight as low to the ground as possible 😎 but also bias weight in the front as much as possible
First time here in your channel. Forget all those rig, you handsome af with rock style 😂😂😂, to be honest im not gay im straight, jusst wanna tell you that .🫡🫡🫡🤜💥🤛
Do you know any way to get more articulation? I feel like the shocks are very great but short. I have the brushless international version and it's been great stock so far

I haven't ran it dead yet. I do 20 min runs in the winter then switch rigs or come inside and put the battery on the charger. I ordered 600 mah battery packs for this that will double the run time

I just got one, and so did my bud. Should arrive in a week: will be following to see what upgrades you so
This is the best and most thorough review. Great job. New sub.
Thank you Soo much!

Nice, informative video, good tips, liked and subscribed, thanks. Love my Evo, can't wait to get to upgrading it.

Great info. Thanks! May look to do this in the future. Currently looking at Cling On tyres and 1.3" beadlock wheels as my 2nd upgrade 👍😁
🦁Hakuna Matata! 😂😂
What wheels are you running?
They sound great.

You mentioned using the TRX4m steering linkage? It works with no modification? Thanx...

Reminds me of a micro ascend
Do the injora brass high clearance links fit even though it says they are for the 4m?
I'm not sure I haven't switched the links yet. Just steering links from spare parts
Pretty sure they offer the stock hex's in brass
Where is micro rc club located? I’m over in northern Utah

Bearings throughout or just bushings?
I believe its bushings
Bushings
How much run time are you getting

Whats the top speed on this thing?
It's 2 speed and upper gear it's pretty quick
Sorry, commenting as the video goes on, but its all metal gears throughout.
