In other words it had all five affects for three turns... There is a very good reason this card is banned even though it kinda saddens me because I loved it so much
@@joshuawenninger6439 Yeah, needing to have Vennominon and the trap card on the field, and destroy it with a card effect in 2019 is gimmicky as all hell. Most decks will just kaiju it, banish it or return it to the deck/hand. Chances are that you would have to destroy it yourself, so you're better off with having a Vennominon beatdown and not relying on summoning Vennominaga on every duel.
Untargetable does give it a few extra benefits... Cards like "red resonator" or "starving venom fusion dragon" have affects that target a monster without affecting it... Affects like this cannot be used with venoninagga as the target
The blackwing full armor master is actually extremely easy to summon within its archetype. Particularly due to Psimoon+auster. It's a 2 card combo that allows easy extenders

I thing he did a list called "Top 10 terrible boss monsters that ain't worth it" or Something like that. I want a list of boss monsters with really weird summoning requirements. This doesn't mean they are not worth it.
Those top two are some of my favourite cards in the game because it totally disrupts everything once you get them out. Raidraptors is by far and away the most enjoyable anti-meta out there for me.
Glad to see my favorite archetype's boss monster at #2. The fact that a deck I've always played, a creature I summon so consistently, sometimes turbo'd out turn 1 or 2, could be seen among the likes of Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus is insane.
10:35 That happened to me today when playing Master Duel, i couldn't believe this combo of Joker dragon and Independent was not banned. An FTK in Gold tier 1, just, WOW!
Exodia incarnate is also really good for card draw, since basically the only way it can be destroyed is by battle, and you get a card for each exodia piece, which the card itself also adds one piece from the grave to your hand each end phase, so even if you only have a few pieces in the graveyard, you can get all of them back into your hand if you stall a couple turns with things like threatening roar, and then when it is destroyed you'll get an extra card for each piece, which lets you draw into more pieces, handtraps, etc.
A friend of mine plays a traphole deck and uses waking the dragon 3 times with cards like Ultimate Falcon, Utopia the Ray, Barbaroid and the Superheavy Samurai Steam Train King. Sniping a traphole is always like russian rolett. You never know if an OP Monster kills you when you try to clear the way for your plays.

Honestly, this is why I love the Super Quant archetype; the boss monster just helps me not be worried too much about the current meta. It's not the perfect strategy, but it helps me from struggling. Plus, I've found that even if someone uses Kaiju/Santa Claws/Nibiru to get rid of Great Magnus, I can use its graveyard effect to jump into another boss monster that is even bigger, like Infinitrack Fortress Megaclops, or even occasionally, Five-Headed Link Dragon. It makes for a good "you thought you just beat me, but you've just unleashed something way worse" reveals.
Full Armour Master can be brought out with just Harmattan and Auster... if you play Allure of Darkness you can even plus off Auster’s affect. Alternatively you can just special summon Harmattan from the hand. Full Armour Master is super easy to go into.
An alternative tower crush card is "Ectoplasma" used by bakura in the anime. It forces you and your opponent to *tribute* one monster at the end of your turn for some Effekt damage.
Main ones that I think you missed are Rhongo, (skipped because banned?) Metaltron XII, and Trifortressops, I kinda think that Exodia incarnate should be higher on the list, if only because we keep getting new ways to cheese out pieces. also I somehow read timaeus like 8 times and never noticed the immune to everything effect. I really want the god cards to get buffs, in the anime they were meant to be some of the most strongest cards ever, and, i wish they got to have that title still, and would make the prep it takes for them to get on the field
I'm sad that you didn't mention Super Dreadnought Rail Cannon Super Dora as a honorable mention. It can make any monster invulnerable for one turn (and is a *quickie!*)
The ultimate raidraptor can also be beat by Palidium Oracle Mahad who doubles his attack against dark monsters and has a base of 2500 so 5000 against raidraptor
Kinda cool, venominaga actually has a little extra utility with the fact it cant be targeted either. It means that should a card have a manditory dectruction effect but no target you want to destroy you can just target your opponents immune monster to have it fizzle. 1 example of this would be gladiator beast murmillo, because the effect is not optional sometimes you are forced to pop one of your own monsters if there are no targetable monsters on your opponents field
9:16 I'll admit, the Ancient Gear Howitzer is pretty great, BUT... there is ONE other card that's immune to practically everything (except battle), and that's the Chaos Ancient Gear Giant - while it isn't immune to monster effects from the very start, it becomes immune during battle, and can target all of your opponents monsters once each - don't really understand how THAT doesn't get mentioned when the weaker Howitzer does
I think the best current card with blanket immunity is "Blackwing Full Armor Master". At 3000/3000 and unaffected by other cards' effects, it also has the ability to put a Wedge Counter on any monster that uses a monster effect, which I can then destroy or steal. AND with the supporting effect of "Blackwing - Auster the South Wind", I can destroy ALL of my opponent's monsters, or even steal them. And in ANY Blackwing deck, it could be brought out on turn 1 if you get at least two Gales and a Sp. Summon Lv. 4.
2:45 Actually you MUST return the card to your hand I'm pretty sure, it's what balances out the card because if you don't have a way to keep sending them to the graveyard the attack will keep decreasing
ipin kaijus are just monsters you give your opponents but you tribute your opponents monsters to do so. So if you have a boss monster I can tribute it and give you a kaiju instead. And while kaiju’s aren’t trash they’re way easier to get rid of than a boss monster.
Kaijus exists to bring balance to the game to be honest. To prevent super monsters that can't be taken down through the normal methods from running rampant. It's like how hand traps existed to prevent decks from becoming super consistent through their search power.
Basically you can choose between Kaijus, Lava Golem, Sphere Mode and Nibiru to sacrifice opponents monsters. That depends how many monsters you need to retire from the field in one move to break opponent's combo. I think Sphere is the best because can't attack and backs to you in the next turn, but today's combos and fields are so strong that Nibiru is neccesary
Metaltron XII, The True Dracombatant can also be unaffected and if this card is destroyed by battle you can special summon one monster with the attribute Water, Fire, Earth or Wind from your extra deck.
Honorable mention to Spear Cretin swap. Place it face down and when its attacked it has an ability that allows you and your opponent to bring back a monster and place it face up attack or face down defense, keep swapping the one on the field with the one in the graveyard and you have a combo that is unbeatable unless you keep a monster from returning.
The anime version of the god cards were op as hell, especially ra, they were immune to traps and monster effects and spell cards only worked for one turn, furthermore ra had so many fucking effects it was ridicules
The Yu-Gi-Oh top 10 therapist know as Duel Logs returns to us for another therapy session... Ahhh! BTW, you can't tell me that he does not love Magnus. I can't blame him I love saying that name!
9:21 it’s partially a Arc V anime card where it need an equip spell to be immune but I love how it was translated to actually work in proper Ancient Gears by making it a golem dispenser that incentivized destroying it by battle not just because if it’s super immunity but also for it’s OPT Burn Damage so it has to go Same honestly goes for the other 2 monsters from Arc V that were added Hunting Hound was adapted to provide you with the ancient gear fusions without a spell card and Chaos Giant is basically a Golem on Crack I’m glad that was the approach adapting the Arc V support instead of all of the weird ass Ancient Gear cards that were in Arc V that’s really would not fit in with ancient gears reputation of HARD Beatdown
@@Hawntur first off, his name is Ultimate FALCON. Ikd why I'm offended when you misspell a children card game tbh :/ And second, Full Armor Master is also a viable option.
@@hoanganphanle I'm honestly ashamed and shocked I said Phoenix over falcon when I have a deck that's specifically build to turbo ultimate falcon out :/ I blame winged dragon of ra immortal Phoenix that was listed in this video :( Full armor works as well, a good option if you want an effect over the 500 extra attack RRUF provides
Exodia’s effect is not optional, so every turn you have to add one exodia piece to your hand no matter what, so it slowly gets weaker and weaker. My guess is they did it that way so it wasn’t too strong, and because they wanted to force you to use the original exodias effect.
Incarnate is used for pulling Exodia cards from you Gaveyard to auto win. This set of cards is made to be used with a mill or support archetype. When used with Shadow of the Monnarchs mill set up its spectacular in the later part of a due and the deck is set up to make a due drag out.
For vennominaga (and other monster with "cant be targeted by other card effect" effect), if you accidentally declare to target 1 monster on the field and destroy it while your opponent monster is only vennominaga, you will be forced to keep destroying 1 monster and finally you can only choose your monster (cus as long as i know if you already actived a card effect you cant undo it). So its a good effect if your opponet is a reckless person .
Really great vid but did anyone else notice that the voice over from 6:51 to 7:11 is repeated? When I heard it, I just assumed I bumped my screen and it went back 10 seconds or something lol.
What about Bloom Diva - The Melodious Choir? That card is immortal on the field and comes with the effect to destroy any special summoned monster and inflict damage to the opponent on the difference between the two cards.
You should have also included Geomathmech final sigma, it's unaffected while in the extra monster zone, deals double damage (although double attack would have been WAYYYY BETTER tho) and for Mathmech players, they can search out one of their mathmech cards from their deck upon battle destruction, all that on a generic level 12 monster (which is totally achievable in decks like Virtual world and obviously Mathmech decks)
You should've included Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad. With 5 material, as well as being immune to literally everything, it cant be destroyed by battle *and* it prevents summons, which means its one of only two boss monsters that's immune to Kaijus. In fact theres like only 2 cards in all of yugioh that can remove a 5 material Rhongo in a practical setting. Doesn't get much more immune to everything than that.
It’s a shame Star Eater only partially cancels things (for the turn it was summoned), because with it being a level 11 Syncro, it can sometimes be a little difficult to get out (unless you play with Blue Eyes decks)
The crazy thing about raid raptor is that it's actually a decent rogue deck. I have built one capable of getting out ultimate and final falcon as well as underworld goddess if going 1st accesscode talker if going second. That's a perfect hand. Consistently puts ultimate and goddess or ultimate and final on the board.
I usually run lair of darkness mixed with viruses, there are a lot of cards that can get around that effect because it doesn't cover being tributed. I also recently added a little labyrinth engine to it.
Actually it's very easy to bring out super quantal mech king great Magnus. I run a super quant deck so bringing it out is absolutely necessary; exceed summon number 27 dreadnought dreadnoid destroy a monster and use its effect to bring out the megazord. Using the new super quant trap card I made sure it gets all its effects in three turns or less.
Honorable mention to DORA. While it can only be uanffected by everything for two turns, it is super easy to make in a rank 10 deck, and can sometimes make something else immune to everything. And at 3200/4000 its also hard to beat over.
For the legendary eggs, Zonia, you can just use him for stalling. If you have an anxiety attack with a whole bunch of pieces you can just take one of those pieces and take all of the pieces put them in your graveyard set summon him with 5000 tack to defend your life points, but then, you would use monster reborn in orange some in them all to the field. I know you need five ones to reborn‘s, but still better than what you would usually use and if the next journey drawing or Ixonia card then yeah tingly if you fill your card with your deck with Xavier cards and there’s one card, you could literally just sacrifice your entire deck to this one monster
@Palpatine McSenateFace Must be Fusion Summoned. If this card is Fusion Summoned using 5 Spellcaster monsters with different names: You can destroy all cards your opponent controls. This face-up card on the field cannot be Tributed, nor used as Fusion Material, also it cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Because it's not immune to destiny hero plasma, while howitzer is
I love that card, specially power bonding it when your opponent has a bunch of monsters on the field
@@EternalEmperorofZakuul but during the battle phase it recovers the effect? Giving that Giant cancels monster effects during bp? Idk how that works
@@coheteos its already cancelled regardless. Meaning no battle phase will save it when i activate a spell or trap to remove it from the field
Me: *sees thumbnail*
About time Duellogs does a Top 10 on best birbs in YGO.
YES
12:44 YEAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!! I was scared great magnus was gonna be left out for a moment
Summon Lv. 4.
01:15 - "ARISE CHICKEN, ARISE!" - Melvin -
2:45 Actually you MUST return the card to your hand I'm pretty sure, it's what balances out the card because if you don't have a way to keep sending them to the graveyard the attack will keep decreasing
how op is kaiju that most of the time its name appear?
ipin kaijus are just monsters you give your opponents but you tribute your opponents monsters to do so. So if you have a boss monster I can tribute it and give you a kaiju instead. And while kaiju’s aren’t trash they’re way easier to get rid of than a boss monster.
Kaiju can be used to get rid of almost any strong monster, even when all other removal techniques don't work.
Kaijus exists to bring balance to the game to be honest. To prevent super monsters that can't be taken down through the normal methods from running rampant. It's like how hand traps existed to prevent decks from becoming super consistent through their search power.
They are pretty broken in a pure kaiju deck though
Basically you can choose between Kaijus, Lava Golem, Sphere Mode and Nibiru to sacrifice opponents monsters. That depends how many monsters you need to retire from the field in one move to break opponent's combo. I think Sphere is the best because can't attack and backs to you in the next turn, but today's combos and fields are so strong that Nibiru is neccesary
Metaltron XII, The True Dracombatant can also be unaffected and if this card is destroyed by battle you can special summon one monster with the attribute Water, Fire, Earth or Wind from your extra deck.
No Performapal Odd-Eyes Metal Claw? Okay then
(edit)
Nevermind noticed that no OCG exclusives.
I saw my boy Ultimate Falcon on a list, finally!!!!
My favourite asmr channel
I thought you were definitely gonna say beelze of the diabolic dragons
Edit: nevermind I just saw it is immune to mostly everything
Sure the anime Wing Dragon of Ra has a lot of effects, but what does Pot of Greed do?
Top 10 monsters that can attack more then once would be a great future video
what abou top 10 cards were too op in the anime but got nerfed in the card game
looking at ra and shooting quasar
It’s actually a lot tougher to get shooting quasar in legacy of the duelist link evolution
You mean...like almost all the cards.
Utopia Kaiser cough
This shows how long ive been out of yugioh... i dont know any of these cards plus its a drastic change nowadays having xyz monsters and synchros.
My opponent: Summons a rlly overpowered card
Me: Kaiju goes brrrrrr.... (.
For real 99% of op monsters can just be kaijud
@@Loldino897 unless it's that dark magician fusion
@@EternalEmperorofZakuul ye the quintus magician one cannot be tributed... ._.
Does it still have it effects currently?
And they all still lost to destiny hero plasma
When a card has changed the meta in the past, it's bound to be on one of TheDuelLogs's lists.
The Yu-Gi-Oh top 10 therapist know as Duel Logs returns to us for another therapy session... Ahhh! BTW, you can't tell me that he does not love Magnus. I can't blame him I love saying that name!
Magnus is a boss monster in competitive chess too lol
Honestly I just wanna start collecting these again because the artwork is dope as hell!
9:21 it’s partially a Arc V anime card where it need an equip spell to be immune but I love how it was translated to actually work in proper Ancient Gears by making it a golem dispenser that incentivized destroying it by battle not just because if it’s super immunity but also for it’s OPT Burn Damage so it has to go
Same honestly goes for the other 2 monsters from Arc V that were added Hunting Hound was adapted to provide you with the ancient gear fusions without a spell card and Chaos Giant is basically a Golem on Crack
I’m glad that was the approach adapting the Arc V support instead of all of the weird ass Ancient Gear cards that were in Arc V that’s really would not fit in with ancient gears reputation of HARD Beatdown
I would love to see "Top 10 best decks to run the Invoked Engine."
That engine just hit duel links slightly with invoked Aleister and cocytus it's super splash-able
Top 10 cards to special summon with “waking the dragon”
The number one spot is the one of the worst possible monsters to summon with Waking the Dragon tho :/
It’s an idea for a top 10
1. Raidraptor ultimate phoenix
2. Naturia exterio
3. Thor lord of asir
4. Corrupted dracos nethersoul dragon
5. Goyo king
6. Borrel dragons
7. DDD super king doom Armageddon
8. Beelzus of the diabolic
9. Crystal wing synchro
10. Ravenous turantula
@@Hawntur first off, his name is Ultimate FALCON.
Ikd why I'm offended when you misspell a children card game tbh :/
And second, Full Armor Master is also a viable option.
@@hoanganphanle I'm honestly ashamed and shocked I said Phoenix over falcon when I have a deck that's specifically build to turbo ultimate falcon out :/ I blame winged dragon of ra immortal Phoenix that was listed in this video :(
Full armor works as well, a good option if you want an effect over the 500 extra attack RRUF provides
Exodia’s effect is not optional, so every turn you have to add one exodia piece to your hand no matter what, so it slowly gets weaker and weaker. My guess is they did it that way so it wasn’t too strong, and because they wanted to force you to use the original exodias effect.
Me watching this and me still playing updated Dark Magician's deck..
My deck is made up of kaibas n yugis card
Incarnate is used for pulling Exodia cards from you Gaveyard to auto win. This set of cards is made to be used with a mill or support archetype. When used with Shadow of the Monnarchs mill set up its spectacular in the later part of a due and the deck is set up to make a due drag out.
"OP boss cards appear"
.
.
Gameciel: I'm about to end this man's whole career.
Mask of restrict: "and I took that personally"
For vennominaga (and other monster with "cant be targeted by other card effect" effect), if you accidentally declare to target 1 monster on the field and destroy it while your opponent monster is only vennominaga, you will be forced to keep destroying 1 monster and finally you can only choose your monster (cus as long as i know if you already actived a card effect you cant undo it). So its a good effect if your opponet is a reckless person .
Timaeus knight of destiny I love him. I actually had a pretty competitive deck with him using 3 copies of magical hats
Really great vid but did anyone else notice that the voice over from 6:51 to 7:11 is repeated? When I heard it, I just assumed I bumped my screen and it went back 10 seconds or something lol.
should have been called "Exodia the limited to one"
NO! IT CAN'T BE! EXODIA!?
The limited to one.
What about Bloom Diva - The Melodious Choir? That card is immortal on the field and comes with the effect to destroy any special summoned monster and inflict damage to the opponent on the difference between the two cards.
It can still be targeted and is affected by card effects
You repeated yourself on Vennominaga.
Yeah i saw it too
You should have also included Geomathmech final sigma, it's unaffected while in the extra monster zone, deals double damage (although double attack would have been WAYYYY BETTER tho) and for Mathmech players, they can search out one of their mathmech cards from their deck upon battle destruction, all that on a generic level 12 monster (which is totally achievable in decks like Virtual world and obviously Mathmech decks)
Yeah in the EMZ, once destroyed and returned to the field, its vulnerable
I just rank up magic skip force to get out raidraptor ultimate falcon
I used doom double force
You should've included Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad. With 5 material, as well as being immune to literally everything, it cant be destroyed by battle *and* it prevents summons, which means its one of only two boss monsters that's immune to Kaijus. In fact theres like only 2 cards in all of yugioh that can remove a 5 material Rhongo in a practical setting. Doesn't get much more immune to everything than that.
I remember the Tyrant Neptune meta days lol
It’s a shame Star Eater only partially cancels things (for the turn it was summoned), because with it being a level 11 Syncro, it can sometimes be a little difficult to get out (unless you play with Blue Eyes decks)
SUPER QUANTAL MECH KING GREAT MAGNUS looks like a Megazord from Power Rangers.
The archetype is based on power Rangers
And I see the Groudon, Rayquaza, & Kyogre.
The white later is arceus ?
Nah. Just the weather trio based on the beasts making it up.
Curious
The crazy thing about raid raptor is that it's actually a decent rogue deck. I have built one capable of getting out ultimate and final falcon as well as underworld goddess if going 1st accesscode talker if going second. That's a perfect hand. Consistently puts ultimate and goddess or ultimate and final on the board.
if the god cards had their anime effects, would they actually be good in the card game?
They'd all be immediately banned. Let's put it that way.
Imagine they got their anime effects, but only made for tournaments and only one copy of each made.
Top ten Tuners?
Why not Quintet Magician
which is immune to kaiju and card effects?
@Palpatine McSenateFace Must be Fusion Summoned. If this card is Fusion Summoned using 5 Spellcaster monsters with different names: You can destroy all cards your opponent controls. This face-up card on the field cannot be Tributed, nor used as Fusion Material, also it cannot be destroyed by card effects.
His "Cannot be destroyed" effecf only refers to graveyard. It can still be banished.
I’d argue that Zushin the Sleeping Giant should have been at #10 for the cheese combo with A Wild Monster Appears
When your Yu-Gi-Oh hobby and your Warcraft hobby overlap for a shocking youtube twist. Might as well subscribe to this channel too. Lol
Defense position Timaeus vs superheavy samurai. Dunno why that popped into my head during the video.
