DLC = Down Loadable Content. This game version literally is downloaded content that is in addition to the core game. Now I know there are some people (including BSG) who would argue that DLC specifically refers to expansions, but even then I would argue that this particular DLC is also an expansion to the core game because it introduces a new game mode. I don't feel like anyone should be defending BSG on that particular point and I'm dissappointed they are even trying to hide behind that. I do however have no issue with anyone that makes the decision to purchase this expansion, BSG have made a fantastic game and I have no problem with supporting them. For me personally I just can't justify the cost, I feel like that is the biggest mistake they made with this whole thing is making it more expensive than most AAA games to even just upgrade from EOD

I’m sure one day they’ll sell the PVE mode separately from the edition, or at least they should. There’s nuance to the mark of the unheard item but beyond that the stuff they give is insane. I wonder what next wipe is gonna look like.

No because there will be taxes on top. Here in Gemany (19% VAT) it would be like 626 Euros or so. A real bargain if you ask me... Ah and: Don't forget that there will also be the Paypal fee that BSG cannot pay themselves given the slim margin...
I started playing Tarkov a few months ago, baught the Prepare for Escape edition because EOD didn't exist anymore, and with Paypal fees, taxes and CAD exchange rate, it's 248$ to upgrade to play PvE.... that's fucked
Its ridiculous i spent crazy amount of money on EOD expecting id get all subsequent DLC like the devs promised and now we arent getting or we are getting it only for 6 months? So disgusting behaviour from the devs
The ability to do offline raids with others, which is almost entirely for testing stuff out. This edition gives access to an entirely separate PVE only game mode that saves stuff and allows for progression. It’s technically not “offline”, it’s “PVE”. BSG’s wording is very specific and confusing, which is understandable due to the language barrier, but something everyone needs to keep in mind.
Yeah, I'm not sure on the specifics of how it works but it's available in the PvE mode, and still doesn't involve random players to my knowledge. Not 100% sure though.

I think the reason they have to put this in the $250 edition is that if it were in a cheaper, or affordable one, too much of the player base would stop playing online altogether and the game would die off quicker
@@smartbart80 I wouldn’t recommend anybody pay that much for a game in any circumstance. However, my experience in this stream was well worth the 100 I had to pay from EOD, and my experience wasn’t broken at all beyond one or two retries to match. That being said, the damage this will cause to what the game has been forever is something I’m not looking forward to. It’s like I bought myself a bunker (being able to play away from players) from the storm and everyone else was left out to dry, and I don’t know if that’s funny or messed up. It’s not worth the money, but I’m in a very specific and rare position where I am satisfied so far. Not many people want to stream it without already having grinded the game sense to compete with players, after all, which makes this version pointless to a large amount of people.
@@Snippy. I don’t think you’re an outlier on this one. Most people who play EFT are immersion junkies so any twist on the game is going to be a sought out fix. I just wouldn’t enjoy the game if me or my friend died early and one had to sit there for 20 mins to wait for the other to exfil. Any word on the implementation of the flare you mentioned earlier?
The PVE Mode is absolute Garbage. Scavs wont Shoot the "AI" PMCs, no firefights, this is so disappointing, over 10 minutes Matching time for my 250$ "OfflinePVE" Game.
I feel the biggest issue with this is the cost (to all parties). BSG are running it on separate servers, probably to avoid any sort of meddling with accounts by people up to no good. While I feel this is DLC I am considering paying as I really enjoy SPT but had issues running SIT.
@@Snippy. offline raid co-op has always been in the game and given to you, why would u get a EOD for offline mode when u don’t even have a inventory for it your same inventory you use on the regular mode is the same as offline, what you said makes no sense. U paid 250 bucks for something u could of gotten for 10 bucks no upgrades LOL NOOB

The offline co-op has been a thing for a while, and that listing was there since EOD was removed to buy, so it’s not what this mode is. That being said, they really should sell it that way… (and EOD should’ve gotten it for free permanently)
When I got into this game, the base game price was 79.99 before tax and exchange rate....wheres my 79.99 discount for unheard edition hurrrrrrrrrr..........

The progression does not cross over between PVE or PVP but the items the editon gives you is given to both.

Yeah, solo is definitely possible, and I even plan to stream solo today.

If you watched the vod you'd literally see a basement car park scattered with dead Scavs that a couple of AI PMC's dealt to earlier in the raid
