Is there any way you can adjust the temperature? I find the milk a bit too lukewarm for my taste.
Mine is very nice. But … I find I have to press the start button twice every time. I leave the setting alone as I use the same programme evert time. The first press seems to wake the machine up, the 2nd starts the heating cycle. Is this normal? Thanks
Do I place the notched whisk in before the smooth for dense milk?
Same question. The manual doesn't say. Did you ever find out?
What is the material of the disc/wisp??
I am a little surprised that it has so much plastic coming into contact with the hot contents at this price point
I didn’t get the smooth disc with mine off of Amazon. 🤔 hmmm
Good Morning,

@@SmegUKOfficial Thankyou poppy but I was my mistake. The two were magnetically stuck together. I didn’t realize there were two whisk things. All set! Thankyou again. Love my Smeg machine. Making a lot of warm toasted martinis 🍸 with it. Simply amazing!
@@buttermilkbaysoap9416Thank you for pointing out that they’re magnetically stuck. Otherwise I was going to complain to Smeg as well 😅
@@ashveerramsunder4656 i know, right. Your welcome. ✋
Can I put oats in this machine for poridge?
No you retard.
HOW DO I USE THE MANUAL FUNCTION - THE MILK IS LUKEWARM USING FROTH OR HOT MILK
Hi Helen,
To start the manual program (M), with heating function, press the START/STOP button, the LED (8) switches on with a fixed light; the whisk speed and temperature increase proportionally to the duration of the cycle. You can stop the cycle by pressing the START/STOP button when you are satisfied.

Is it made in the UK or in China?
Good afternoon,
All of our products are designed in Italy, as well as the component specifications which are chosen from Italy as well.
Thank you,
Poppy
But the unit is Made in the PRC …. I was so disappointed at that for this Italian brand 😢
@@AnneFeatonby Cant really expect a company of this scale to be manufacturing in europe lol
@@MysteryPianoMan I just bought a hair dryer “made in Italy” Parlux….SMEG manufacture their large appliances in Italy…..was was expecting them to do the same with their small appliances…their web site isn’t clear on that.
@@AnneFeatonby True and its strange how they dont make all their products in italy considering how much their products cost lol!. But smeg make almost every type of kitchen appliance going so its quite difficult to sustain with demand also constantly going up too. I'd love to have a kitchen full of their stuff.
SMEG = Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla
What is this Smeg doing? Only heating the milk? A milk frother works with steam and I don't see any steam.
Hello,
Our Milk Frother creates a light or dense foam. It can create hot/warm foam using induction plates. It also has a cold function.
Thanks,
