Thanks for the kind question @marjensendk - if I've understood it correctly: it just measures the temperature of the room wherever it is. If it were me, I would use the thermostats on the radiators, if you have them and just put this remote control in the coldest place... good luck with your heating!
The remote has broken, nothing for a wk, how do I switch on the immersion heater on in the airing cupboard? The technician pit it on last time but it's switched itself off again and have no hot water Thanks
What if "desired temperature" disappeared? It's been there for the last 10 years and now gone. VBattery is brand new. Heating turns on but we don't see the temperature on the remote.
So sorry to hear this - I've only seen it disappear when it's on Summer Mode - is it still in automatic mode? Wonder if the display just fades after a time. Sorry I can't be of more help!
I wish they'd use normal terminolgy... like normal words... to turn the heating off, you have to go to 'set back mode'. Why not just have an 'off' option? 'Set back mode' doesn't even switch it off. Or go to 'Summer mode'. None of it actually makes sense
