Wildcat’s Revenge delivers ejector airtime. Candymonium brings the floater. Skyrush screams pure intensity. Storm Runner has the launch. Fahrenheit serves up the inversions. Great Bear hangs under the tracks. Lightning Racer has the prime wooden coaster experience. Comet and SooperdooperLooper are pure classics. Laff Trakk spins. Wild Mouse brings insane laterals. Jolly Rancher Remix goes forward and backward. Trailblazer is a solid family coaster. All in all, HersheyPark has the most complete coaster lineup of any park out there!
Great vlog. I love the in-depth look at your day in the park riding those world-class coasters. You guys make Hershey Park look like an enthusiast’s paradise, especially in the rain! Thanks for sharing your visit and keep up the great work!
I didn't expect this ride to beat me up, but in a good way. Wildcat's Revenge has some pretty abrupt elements that will literally toss you around. Wildcat's Revenge is truly wild.
Thank you for defending Skyrush !! I love wildcats revenge but there are many coasters like it, NOTHING is even remotely close to Skyrush in terms of how coasters ride. It’s a special ride, and those who enjoy it, REALLY ENJOY IT. It’s maybe my favorite steel rollercoaster period.
My childhood park! I was actually just there yesterday! First time there since before Skyrush opened, and Wildcat’s Revenge was also my first RMC. If that’s considered a mid-tier RMC by most, holy crap!!! Absolutely blew me away. Gonna need to ride more RMCs! I got a night ride on Skyrush, also my first, and that was insane. Didn’t enjoy it as much as Wildcat’s Revenge but definitely a fun ride.
I’ve not ridden Wildcat’s Revenge (or Wildcat for that matter) but it was announced at the perfect time for with the “Truss lift” a week after Liz Truss stood down as Prime Minister, could make so many jokes about her actually being useful. Good old British humour.
Dude, Josiah is a bit of a beefcake in a tank top haha. Glad y'all loved Wildcat's Revenge, and of course the classics slay hard. Skyrush looks just silly stupid.
Wildcat's Revenge looks incredible. I've been watching video footage of it since it opened, and I've been dying to ride it since. As I've mentioned many times before, I love aggressive roller coasters -- so, Wildcat's Revenge is right up my alley. Honestly, from the video footage I've seen and the feedback I've heard from others, it might be up there with Iron Gwazi and ArieForce One in coasters and RMC's for me (this is a strong feeling I get). I had planned to go to Hershey Park at the end of September, but the crowds are predicted to be insane for the entire month. Given my budget for the trip, I need to avoid purchasing fast lanes at the park in addition to the other costs of the trip. Now, it looks as though I'll be going to either Fiesta Texas or Kentucky Kingdom/Holiday World instead, and Hershey will have to wait until the summer of 2024. I haven't yet ridden Skyrush, which is one of my top bucket list coasters in the US. I can't wait to finally ride it (wish it was sooner than later). With the type of roller coasters that are the most enjoyable to me, I can't imagine that Skyrush won't be one of my top favorites. I haven't been to Hershey Park since I was a young kid -- it looks like a phenomenal park in multiple ways, and it could possibly end up having my favorite coaster line up in the US, with Wildcat's Revenge, Skyrush, Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, Candymonium.
The lineup at Hershey is absolutely insane. Just went a few weeks back and Skyrush and Wildcat’s Revenge are an excellent 1-2 punch. The ops really kill it on Wildcat’s Revenge. Great vlog
I loved the rain segment of the vlog. My very first ride on wicked cyclone was in the rain and I was like 8 and that was one of the best rides I’ve ever gotten.
I wish Merlin would allow gopro's with chest / wrist mounts. I would love to film at thorpe park for hyperia when it opens. Ive rode zadra and its insane, defo my #1. wildcat looks amazing
This was my 100th credit earlier this month! You were there exactly a week after I was lol. It's a freakin crazy ride, it's my number 4 overall! Skyrush is still my number 1, but wildcat's revenge is phenomenal!
I love Fahrenheit but those 12 rider trains are a problem. The line moves sooo slooow. I do try to hop on when the line is short. I went to two Dark Nights Fridays and the line didn't even hit the bottom of the stairs.
The reason behind the "kink" in Skyrush's drop deals with how the track on the drop was designed. Most roller coaster drops level out as they get steeper, but the drop on Skyrush is two consistent curves. The kink you feel in the back seat of the ride is from the transition off the cable lift to the actual drop curve.
Hey Marc and Josiah! OMFG this coaster just makes me 'scream and tingle' just to watch the coverage! And @4:42 tell J that his haircut is fukn awesome and great Ink on the left arm! It was so great to see the girls again and with their hair flying!! So jealous. With me being 6' 4" Skyrush would KILL my 40 inch legs....I just know it, but what the hell! Great video as always. I was just talking about your guys' trip and what not on my channel the other day. There is NOTHING like a coaster ride after sundown! Richard
Just spent the past two days at Hershey Park (haven't been here since the early 70's), and I hit the jackpot -- not sure if a lot of it had to do with the intense heat both days (especially yesterday), but the longest wait today on any of the thrill coasters was about 15 minutes for Candymonium midday. Then, in the late afternoon, it was a walk-on. Yesterday it was a walk-on or station wait during the entire day. Skyrush was a walk-on or station-wait yesterday and part of today. I think the longest I had to wait for Skyrush was about 10 minutes around midday for the front row. All the other thrill coasters in the park were all walk-ons or station waits all of yesterday and today (only Great Bear had wait times of about ten minutes most of the day today). At one point, I was the one and only rider on a train on Storm Runner. Needless to say, I picked the perfect two days to visit the park. Maybe the roller coaster gods are helping me out for I-305 and Pantheon both being closed during my park trip in March of 2023. Anyway, Hershey is such a beautiful park with such an incredible roller coaster line up. I certainly was not expecting my favorite coasters in the park to be what they were. It actually took riding the coasters for two days for me to form a conscious understanding of how I felt about the best of them. In the end, Storm Runner was my favorite in the park. I didn't think it would top Skyrush and Wildcat's Revenge for me, but it did. My first ride on Skyrush -- a front row wing seat -- was great. But much to my surprise, wing seats in the rear of the train were blatantly uncomfortable -- headache inducing uncomfortable. Between all the rides I got on Skyrush over the past two days, I only had a few great rides (in the front row and in middle seats near the front or center of the train) that weren't be overshadowed by headache inducing bumpiness and shakiness. A regular guest to the park shared with me that Skyrush does not run well in extreme heat due to issues with the wheels. So, in the end, the few comfortable rides I got on it were phenomenal -- but unfortunately, the majority of my rides were uncomfortable. I do have to say that first drop is definitely one of the best out there -- the ejector air time when the train hits the kink in the track is insane. Wildcat's Revenge was my second favorite coaster in the park. I really appreciated the relentless and aggressive nature of it, and it felt somewhat like a smaller and milder version of Iron Gwazi. Believe it or not, Great Bear was actually my third favorite coaster in the park. I was blown away by its forcefulness and intensity, which I was not expecting at all. Also, its unique layout added to the ride's greatness. I was not expecting to like Candymonium as much as I did. It is now my favorite B&M hyper after Goliath at SFOG. I have not gotten the amount of sustained floater airtime on any B&M hyper as I did on Candymonium. And I really loved the outer-banked hill. I was not expecting it at all on my first ride-- and I looked forward to it on every ride after that.
Great video! Makes me wonder where you will rank Wildcats Revenge in your top 50! This park does have a very good collection of coasters! Good to see you had a good time! Looking forward to both the Virginia park Vlogs!
Beyond spoiled having it as my home park during college 🤣 taking all my friends there and seeing their reactions on some of the craziest rides in the world was always a treat!
As for Jesiah, try to get him on a front row middle seat on Skyrush next time you're there (when it's not running one train). Skyrush in a front middle is super comfortable, smooth, but not quite as intense. Also, for Sammy being a but disappointed with Skyrush, it may very well have been on B train which has supposedly been running around 5 mph slower on average than A train. Hershey screwed up Skyrush's programming so they can't run it with 2 trains, so they just swap the trains occassionally. I managed to experience B & A back to back and can say that A was noticeably faster even without warming up.
Great video! ❤ I love Wildcat’s Revenge, it’s unlike any other roller coaster with the way it gets more intense farther through the layout. 28:05 I think it’s important to note that Hersheypark is owned by HERCO (Hershey Entertainment & Resorts) not by the Hershey Foods company. But besides that you are correct. 😊
Have you ridden Intimidator 305? If so, how would you compare it to skyrush in your opinion? I think they are similar but I think intimidator is more re rideable. Also I agree that wildcats revenge is a top tier RMC
I have! Intimidator 305 is my favorite roller coaster in America and number 2 overall. I rank it about 10 spots above Skyrush. They’re both some of the most extreme coasters ever built. I just find Intimidator 305 to be a notch *even* crazier, and it’s more comfortable. But Skyrush is absolutely outstanding!
I feel similarly about Hershey’s lineup now. Wildcat’s Revenge is my #5 RMC and #19 overall currently, was very impressed as well but Skyrush is still untouchable for me at that park
I agree about rain. I was lucky enough to be at Disneyland on a rare rainy day and the lines were short. Earlier before the rain started there were really long waits for everything. I rode Splash Mountain in the rain which was a phenomenal experience. I'd never want to ride it any other way (and of course I never will ;) )
I can say for me 1)skyrush- yes it hurts, but there is nothing like it 2)wildcat- insane rmc 3)stormrunner- love this one 5)lightning racer- i love woodies, and its always walk on 6)candymonium- the airtime and smothness 7)great bear-love inverts, this one is great 8)farenhight- insane drop, decent ride, but the rattle 9) comet- great classic 10)looper- forcefull loop then a minetrain, but surprisingly smooth 11) trailblazer- its a mine train. Good step up 12) wild mouse- ouch Nr) remix- broke down in line, but just another boomerang clone Nr) laugh trax- i dont like spinners
I probably got a bad ride, but the one time I rode fahrenheit, it was incredibly shakey and one of the roughest steel coasters ive ridden. The drop (better than Skyrush's imo) and camelback give insanely strong airtime though.
I actually found that, while the airtime on the first drop is absolutely best experienced in the back row, I think all the rest of the airtime moments on Wildcat's Revenge actually hit harder in the front row, and I have been recently noticing that on a lot of rides. I think because the train is still carrying most of the momentum from the previous element, you hit the crest with more speed, giving you more of a "bucking" sensation, while in the back, the train lost momentum up until the center of gravity of the train reached the crest and is still building the momentum back up when the back row hits it, giving more of a "yank" which is still powerful, but not as abrupt
Hot take but I kinda liked wildcat more than steel vengeance I wrote them in the same week and wildcat just hit so much harder. I want to get another ride on steel vengeance to try to give it another chance.
Wildcats revenge is definitely a top tier RMC . I dont care what anyone says. Its up there with Steve, IG, AF1. Its below them but its top tier for sure
I was at Hershey Park for the first time a week ago and I couldn't believe how good Skyrush was everyone was talking about wildcat because it is new but Skyrush is easily the best ride there for me and one of the best in the US in my opinion
@@CoasterDash Yeah my preferences are super weird because usually I love fast and graceful coaster kind of like Fury 325 but then Velocicoaster is my number one and that is far from graceful lol (If that is new Jesiah’s haircut looks amazing on him!)
Just curious, what were your thoughts on how they handled the fast track? When we got rained on Monday and got a voucher, there were so many people from the previous day, so it was slammed. Aside from candymonium having some of the slowest ops I've ever seen, I couldn't stand how they did the fast track. My homie who works there hates it too. It isn't the staff's fault, it's just what they're told to do. He's trained to prioritize everyone using fast track, so people keep coming through the fast track line while the normal line never moves, making a 30 minute wait for wildcat an hour long. This is what holds Hershey back from being elite in my opinion. I'm just curious to know what you thought of it
I visited Hershey for the first time today, Skyrush was fun but I expected it to be more intense and it felt kind off short. Wildcat was the total package for me.
Wildcat is a great ride. The only complaint is that it had enough speed to be a little longer. And the last roll was superfluous, I'd rather have another hill.
@@larsiehG Thanks for the info.. I need to get out to PA and ride it!! I have been on many RMC's including Zadra in Poland. There is something about Untamed that is just off the rocker crazy. Can't wait to ride Wildcat!
@@sandwalkingco ah yes Zadra looks so awesome! i only rode Untamed but its hard collecting RMCs in the Dutchland here 🥲🇳🇱 i do have 43 credits with most of them being pretty solid so no complaining 🙂
great vid . . .especially your introduction; you are very well spoken, intelligent, good looking; so more exposition each vid would be good. Keep being yourself too ("Hershey Freaking Park.") Like #278.

Interesting observation! I actually found Wildcat’s Revenge to be one of the least repetitive RMC’s. Every element serves a purpose and is different from the rest.
Love your videos keep up the great work have a question how does wild cat rank from iron gwazi and steel vengeance and twisted Colossus i have been on all three

Wildcats revenge is definitely a top tier RMC . I dont care what anyone says. Its up there with Steve, IG, AF1. Its below them but its top tier for sure
I went to Hersheypark too, and my mom went on that ride
Track’s wet I’m wet is all well and good until a shower turns into a hailstorm. On a hyper. In July. Not the greatest conditions to ride The Big One.
Have you ever had those same circumstances but on a giga coaster?
I was at Hershey Park for the first time a week ago and I couldn't believe how good Skyrush was everyone was talking about wildcat because it is new but Skyrush is easily the best ride there for me and one of the best in the US in my opinion
Wildcat’s revenge honestly looks insane but for some random reason I feel like Candymonium or Fahrenheit would be my favorite
It depends on your preferences!
@@CoasterDash Yeah my preferences are super weird because usually I love fast and graceful coaster kind of like Fury 325 but then Velocicoaster is my number one and that is far from graceful lol (If that is new Jesiah’s haircut looks amazing on him!)
“Tracks wet, I’m wet” is crazy 💀😭😭
I'm just curious to know what you thought of it
Candymonium looks lackluster compared to Mako, it has half the airtime hills
It’s a bit weaker, but not that big of a difference. Both are great rides!
I rode candymonium and nitro within days of each other and found nitro to be superior. Love candymonium but it ain’t an elite hyper for me
Im going to Hersheypark this Saturday
It's my home park
Dang I really wish I saw you on Saturday and Sunday I didn’t see you sadly. Maybe next time!
I visited Hershey for the first time today, Skyrush was fun but I expected it to be more intense and it felt kind off short. Wildcat was the total package for me.
It depends a lot on your seat. Back row wing is much more intense than middle near the front.
How do u bring cameras on the rides?
I went on the when I was six with my older cousin it was wild 😂
Wildcat is much more intense in the back
Tracks wet I’m wet 💀💀💀
My mom will ride wildcat revenge but not candymonium
I was surprised she rode wildcat in the first place, and liked it!?
Absolutely on my bucket list.Honestly no plans on visiting because they do not operate all roller coasters for Christmas. Absolutely Outstanding
Wildcat is a great ride. The only complaint is that it had enough speed to be a little longer. And the last roll was superfluous, I'd rather have another hill.
I went on that and it hurt my hips alot
Thanks for including the full povs in the vlog not all coaster vlog do that :,(
Gosh - Josiah with short hair !!
Candymonium is one of the weaker B&M hypers in my opinion, but my home park has Goliath, so I might be biased
When your having a boring asf day got nothing to do be like then you see that coasterdash posted a 29 minute video....
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
It looks like fun. But, it literally looks like Iron Gwazi in a different paint scheme.
Wildcat reminds me a lot of Untamed at Walibi Holland. How do you think they compare? Still looks like Untamed may beat it a bit from the video.
Untamed is like much lower and slower but more focused on airtime and i dont really know about wildcats revenge but it seemed much higher.
@@larsiehG Thanks for the info.. I need to get out to PA and ride it!! I have been on many RMC's including Zadra in Poland. There is something about Untamed that is just off the rocker crazy. Can't wait to ride Wildcat!
@@sandwalkingco ah yes Zadra looks so awesome! i only rode Untamed but its hard collecting RMCs in the Dutchland here 🥲🇳🇱 i do have 43 credits with most of them being pretty solid so no complaining 🙂
get to hershey now skyrush is better now
Cedar point is the most complete
Wildcat> steel vengeance
Wildcats revenge> farenheight> storm runner> skyrush> great bear> candymonium> lightning racer> comet> laff track> trail blazer> wild mouse> cocoa cruiser
storm runner> skyrush> farenheight> lightning racer> great bear> candymonium> comet> laff track> trail blazer> wild mouse> cocoa cruiser (Didn't add Wildcats revenge cause I haven't rode it yet, which i'm pissed about)
@@charliemick8246 if u ever get the chance to ride it, u need to
I don’t mind Skyrush but I think it’s way over hyped. Storm Runner and Wildcat though are top 5 coasters for me, but that may just be home park bias.
We'be Got To Talk About Wildcat's Revenge (Surprised You Didn't Notice That Lol)
great vid . . .especially your introduction; you are very well spoken, intelligent, good looking; so more exposition each vid would be good. Keep being yourself too ("Hershey Freaking Park.") Like #278.
Are the girls your sisters
Herscheypark: Apologizing for Skyrush since 2013.
Hersey Park Owned "Lake Compounce in Connecticut fora Couple Years pufchas8ngvit fromnthe OriginaIwners ,"The Norton Family!"But, Failed There until Kennywood , I Believe that took over From Hersey.maybe One otger Company, I just don't remember but, "Lake Compounch was "Tooted" as being, "The Oldest Continuously Operating Amusement Park inbthe Nation!"
best rmc in america way better then Sv and better then IG sorry not sorry that airtime in the second to last row i didnt feel on any rmc i have ridden
It looks good but, it looks a bit to repetitive.
Interesting observation! I actually found Wildcat’s Revenge to be one of the least repetitive RMC’s. Every element serves a purpose and is different from the rest.
Definitely not allowed to film on Wildcat's Revenge.
Love your videos keep up the great work have a question how does wild cat rank from iron gwazi and steel vengeance and twisted Colossus i have been on all three
