- In this installment, we did some recording outside this financial institution while standing on the public sidewalk. Almost immediately, one of the bank employees was waving his fingers at us from inside as if he was saying no, no, no. He then came outside to tell us we couldn't record the bank & went on to say that we couldn't record inside of the bank. I established that we weren't recording inside the bank since we were standing on the public sidewalk. He then told us he would be calling security & returned inside to speak with the guard at the security post inside the lobby. We were guessing the the guard informed them to close the shades on the windows, because within moments , they came down on each window to create the necessary privacy they desired. As we continued our recording, we were met by an individual who was walking with his dog, who turned out to be a Veteran Marine who was supportive of what we were doing in exercising our rights. Of course we thanked him for his service to the United States before he went on his way. Bank security eventually came outside to fish for information as to why we were recording & naturally we declined to get into details. He then went on to ask us not to block the entry way incase courier deliveries were coming in. I pointed out that it was virtually impossible to block the entry as there was more than enough space on either side of where we were standing, doing our recording & he eventually went back inside the building.

Well banks don’t have cash in them any longer. If you don’t believe it then go in there abd try to get money out of your bank acct. They’ll give you 30 questions as to why are you getting cash ? And whst are you doing with it?

Compared to most, this security guy was pretty chill, he was just trying to keep management off his back. They made a good choice early on by closing the blinds....problem solved.

In the USA all businesses have the right to put up glass doors and huge glass windows so folks can record inside from sidewalks. It appears that banks are especially fond of that.

If the bank officials don't want the building recorded just move to 40 acres on a hill at the end of a private mile-long road. Wouldn't you be more comfortable working in food businesses? There are not cameras everywhere. The north part of our 40 acres has no cameras. Zero cameras.

From years of experience dealing with ex service personnel I have learned that those that actually served do not go around wearing clothing that identifies them as ex service persons. This guys demeanor and overall behavior are very indicative of someone falsifying their service.
