Women to Watch 2022 - Anne Muraya

Anne Muraya was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte East Africa, effective June 2022. In her new role, she will oversee the company’s business in eight countries. She is the first female executive to serve in that position, in the history of the firm.
As a leader, Anne is keen to close the gender wage gap and ensure tasks are distributed based on skillset and competence, not gender. She encourages women to move away from stereotypes like “women are their own worst enemy”, a rumor perpetuated by those in the unknown.
