My vet has made my young dog so excited at the vets that she alligator rolls and bunny licks when he tries examining her. After she leaves she falls back into a nice focused heel. I feel a bit annoyed about it as she is mindless in there. They created the problem. I've had to put my foot down and stop them rewarding her when over excited. I appreciate they want the dogs to like going to the vets but since a 8 week old pup they have encouraged over excitement. Luckily she doesn't bite them. Great video : )

Dont use these collars when its hot dogs need to open there mouths to cool off because they dont have sweat glands.

@@John-Anderson they can open their mouths with the muzzle on and there's plenty of air flow, obviously use common sense but only a sith deals in absolutes

Ive been using the baskerville ultra for the past 3 months and it does not seem to be comfortable for my dog, so i am switching to the polymer coated wire muzzle. It looks like it will probably be more comfortable. We will see when it gets here!

As a former pet groomer, don't put anything other than a basket muzzle for vet or dog grooming. The reason is that with other muzzles, they do bite with their front teeth, and depending on the dog size, it can be quite awful. My vet had a really bad injury in her face bc of that. Your dog might be very good and nice, but even the nicer dogs, may behave ugly sometimes if they are in pain and vet needs to help them, or if a do groomer needs to clip nails or anything that th dog doesn't like to. And yes, the breed tht bited me the most, being a pet groomer, were the little toy poodles. I did work 90 percent of the time without muzzles, but some dogs are just imposible to work without, and they normally are not trained ever by the owners to use one. So even more complicated to handle.

How about a muzzle that actually stays on the dog while they are active. I've spend a ton of money trying multiple muzzles of all types and my dog can take all of them off within seconds. Doesn't anyo e make a muzzle that has 4 connection points? 2 side straps & top and bottom straps?

    • @YosheSK8

No not fully if you want a safe bite proof muzzle look at Dean And Tyler wire basket muzzle. Years ago we had one for a large male dog no problems with it. Now we have a young female dog and it dose not fit her yet so we tried the Baskerville muzzle I really hate it as its hard to adjust correctly as you cant adjust it on the dog and she gets it off as we cant get it adjusted correctly fully for her. So we ordered another Dean and Tyler wire basket muzzle as they are the best in our minds a bit more money but worth every cent. I hope that's some help for you.
