Wow...that's what makes you wanna practice. Please collaborate more together, your styles are incredible together. So many great DJ's in the game and both of these DJ's names have to be mentioned...Salute to DJ Craze & DJ Kentro !
Craze and Kentaro are 2 of my favorite turntablists of all time. The sickest jungles, they play dub riddims and drum and bass with hip hop for 20 years! Both won back to back dmcs : )
+African Film Centre thank you guy. This guys are on another level... I love seeing clips that challange me... Great to see I am not alone. Have a good one guys.
+DJ Krowbar..Whattttttttttttttt..You are here or was here??i'm a huge fan man. Tell the kenyan DJ scene to organize overkill events like that. Radio and club mixing puts food on the table but this makes everlasting memories #Peace
Sorry to all the die-hard vinyl lovers out there who think djing can only be done with analog records. Clearly all of your heroes have gone digital. Now they can do more with their sets than was EVER possible. What an age to be alive.
+Vintagestereos Not so fast! There's still some all vinyl D.J.s out there that didn't sellout to digital.Egyptian Lover,Kid koala,Bad boy bill,Richard vission, and Ricardo Villalobos just to name a few. (though some of em play digital sometimes)Last year 2016 Bad boy bill and Richard vission had a back to vinyl tour, where they rocked all real vinyl only.the tour was a smash hit!The flyer from the tour read,"No sync buttons-No software-No loop buttons-JUST SKILL!! It's nice to see an all real vinyl set. When asked why go back to vinyl?Richard vission replied"Digital is way to easy! we needed a real challenge and real vinyl gives you that it feels good to know that there's some real D.J.s left that get it...what a good time to be alive!
Alas. I must say. Technology apart. I would rather see a chap or Chapess) mixing vinyl. These guys are top draw....No-one can deny that, esp, as they using 'Pump Up The Volume' & 'Eric B and Rakim' '12 Minutes of Madness' etc! But, I go back to '86 and DJ Cheese....TBH, I could prob mix DJ Cheese set better than this, as I'm a bit old school!
vintagestereos and Jonathan Villalobos, Guys, it's two different things and there's no reason to argue over it. It's like arguing what football team or country is best - and no one will ever win the discussion because both parts belives that he's forever right. The big dj's don't discuss it either- They just blast their show off with whetever system they prefer, and I admit that the digital invention makes it possible to be more creative on the wheels of steel - and the buttons combined. But of course, you can be nostalgic stubborn about feeling that the old school analoge way is the only real way to do it - and that's why I also think that DMC should consider making it two different competitions. Never the less, here's an example of how the classic analogu style can still outbest the new digtial. ruclips.net/video/QHEO0FVPBTU/видео.html Look how Yukichi kills it with not only old chool vinyl records but also uses the classic DMC Technics mixer from the 90's. Stylish!
I do find it more interesting when a Dj uses one sample from a vinyl then switches to another vinyl for the next sample, rather than just clicking a mouse or hitting a trigger button on the mixer. Granted I remember when people scoffed at DJs pressing their own sample records for competitions.
The ending sounded like the Xecutioners vs Isp straight up. If you squint your eyes you swear you was watching Roc Raida and Total eclipse doing the carousel. This was the highlight of my week. So many styles east, west, south, far east culminating into an epic routine. Freestyle at that these guys are legends. Craze x Kentaro much love peace....

That last scrathing wow so damn sick! I miss DJ like this. This remind me with DJ AM, DJ jazzy jeff. Love that music. soo sad, the DJ we know now is not like this. They just play the song with their hands on the air. #RealDJing
5 years later and i still love it. I can’t help but notice Bastid and Jazz in the back just having a blast 😂
I agree watched this many times, Kentaro has to be a multi word-champion. Seeing him with Craze just put a smile on my face. Epic!
Yeah, they dont have to perform lol
never get tired of Kentaro's "Not Paid Enough" routine...pure class...

I like how Jazzy Jeff is like a kid in a candy store just recording everything and bopping his head - he's a true fan of DJ art.
Whattttttttttttttt..... That was dope. I am so blown away...

The dream team in action here. Saw Kentaro back then at the Sub Club in Glasgow. A mind bogglingly amazing hour and a half.
