I only learned a couple of Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana, and Romaji One by one but i prefer you guys learn Katakana because it will give you access to hundreds of words that is often sound similar from English and other languages. And she is actually right Romaji makes your purnounciation kinda mess up (Im still not that skilled on speaking Japanese)
