    Dream is too smooth. Greatest Center of all time imo.

      No doubt.

      Most skilled center ever no doubt but I wouldn't say greatest.

    It's phenomenal how detailed Hakeem is on each move he teaches. The smallest things matter in the player who's learning.

    Often imitated never replicated
    Hakeem is pure poetry in motion

    Would be cool if FIBA rules would would allow a player to do this!

    • @janmagdevski4973
      @janmagdevski4973 6 лет назад

      Luca Zugic They did allow to Bodiroga, check his highlights, 50% of the buckets he made in the highlights, are from the pivot after 1-2. Nba and fiba rules agree that you have to take an immediate action after 1-2,shoot or pass, no pivot allowed. I was always amaized how this is not traveling. Its not a jumpstop, its not a jumpstop with the gallop, it's simple stopping after 2 steps, in the nba rulebook, thats a travel

    I bet you anything Kobe was the one that recommend Lebron to work with Dream. When Kobe’s athleticism started declining, he trained with Dream and learned new ways to get to the basket.

      @jm-pj3ul 4 года назад +1

      Id see bron decline in his shooting ability first when father time catches up but would still have the athleticism to dominate his way to the paint. Bron overpower anyone on iso goin to the rim.

    I feel like lebron doesn't put the ball high enough. That's what sells the move. And his spin takes forever! as many times as he used athletic moves, he should be able to make that great quick spin and his dominant hand is right so that'll be easy for him.

      I don't know who invented this move but Pete Maravich was using it in college well before hakeem.

    Don`t you think that Jordan stole a couple of The Dream moves?)

    • @sizzlinfr
      @sizzlinfr 9 лет назад +1

      The Dream said in interviews that he developed these moves by studying point guards and incorporating their basic skillset into the post

      Than he`s done great job!

      Their moves actually have a lot in common; especially, when looking at their moves/foot-work side by side. They have very similar way to set up how to explode into next move with legs. I mean I think their difference is just because of the difference of their bodies. The mechanisms and principles are indeed exactly the same.

    The reason this is hard is b/c Lebron never takes that shot. Also his hands are smaller than Hakeem's. But all this was for naught as Lebron still rarely posts up.

    • @tyler8447
      @tyler8447 8 лет назад +1

      Haha I wish LeBron would post up more because he seems very efficient down there.

    LeBron doesn’t have any coordination…Zero timing by feint ( wich is most important while doing it )…The " GOAT " 😏
