- Police have ordered the family of former President Uhuru Kenyatta to surrender all firearms in their possession to the Central Firearms Bureau of the National Police Service. A video recording Shows police officers who claim to have been instructed by the chairperson of the Firearms Licensing Board Yakub Rashid to demand that the family surrenders a total of 28 firearms owned by the former President's Children. The order comes even as the former Head of State defended his family maintaining that they followed the right procedure to obtain licenses to hold the firearms

Guns are licenced to individuals and not families. Let's start with that.
Secondly, if they are held legally m, then it is the licencing body that ought to be challenged to explain why they licenced the individuals to carry such firearms.
Thirdly true to the usual African myopic mentality, even as late as now, no one is question why there isn't a policy or a regulation regarding how many guns an individual civilian may be allowed to carry. If you put the interests of the shooting first, then you might understand why he preferred compensatory justice.
