We can also say matter has always existed and form an argument that fits our inclination. We know all this monotheist religions cannot all be right,it's either one of them is true or all of them false.Christianity requires Jesus Christ to enter paradise.In Islam Jesus is just a prophet and any worship of anybody but God will lead you to hellfire.In Judaism they are still waiting for christ.Having said that sometimes the wise answer to the God existence question is "I don't know".

But when you walk around in the society science is what built it. The bridges, the roads, the hospitals, the technology and all that. Science is all about what we do and what makes sense to us. When some answers cant be justified theories is what is used to find the closest explanation and thats why scientists would sit down in a room and debate on their concepts derived from theories and go with what makes the most sense. On the other hand, religion brings that sense of a "what if" ? I think they are both right.

But travelling from East Africa to Europe was the game changer for me. Went to Sixth form and University in both Europe and the USA. Going by your statement, you cannot be removed from heaven by Someone who does not exist, can you? So Satan is not an atheist. He knows there is a God thus Charles Spurgeon's statement that "Even the devil never fell into that vice." In other words, even the devil never fell into the deception that there is no God. Unlike the atheist, he(the devil) knows there is a God, He just doesn't like Him.
