    I am confused by the greasing instructions: You say apply thin layer of grease to the piston ( video shows gobs of grease) AND the grey colored shaft - but they appear to be the same piece!

    Hello , when I clean machine with oil remover tablets , in the part when we need to unplug the machine ,do we have to turn off (on the button) the machine before that? And second question: its about the same thing (cleaning with oil remover tablets) when you say "unplug the machine when half a cup of water has flushed away" do you mean the water tank by that??

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  Год назад

      Hi Marko, thanks for reaching out! Yes - we advise you to turn off your espresso machine before unplugging it, just in case. Regarding your second question, half a cup of water is about 118 ml. We recommend placing a measuring cup under the dispensing spout to gauge how much water has been dispensed. Otherwise, you can also gauge the amount of water that has been dispensed by taking a look at the water tank, indeed. We hope this helps - please let us know if you have further questions.

    Hi, is it ok if the decalcification light on my machine is still off after a year? Or should I do the process even if the coffee maker doesn't signal it? Otherwise, I handle the other maintenance according to your instructions. But the descale light hasn't come on for me even once.

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  8 дней назад

      Hi there, thanks for asking. It is important to descale your espresso machine regularly to obtain optimal coffee temperature and taste. We advise you to descale your machine every 1-2 months or whenever a reduction in water flow is noticed. Hope this helps!

    hello. i bought my ep3347 coffee maker about a month ago. when i took the brewing group out to clean it for the second time, it was very sticky and cannot be cleaned with water. i used coffee oil remover but there was no change, there are still these sticky places. why do these form and how do i clean them? thanks

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  17 часов назад +1

      Hi there, thanks for your questions! Congratulations on your EP3347 espresso machine. We recommend rinsing the brew group with lukewarm water once a week and cleaning it with a coffee oil remover tablet once a month. Grease the brew group once every two months. All brew units are heavily greased at the factory. A lubricated brew group guarantees that the mechanical parts move smoothly. The grease shouldn't be cleaned / removed. More information can be found on the following page: to.philips/6051agioh. If there's anything else you'd like to know, don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a great weekend!

    Hi I purchased the 300 machine. Is it the same steps to clean as this 3300 machine?

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  Месяц назад

      Hi Bob, thank you for your question and for choosing the 3000 Series LatteGo. Yes, the cleaning steps for the 3000 Series LatteGo are quite similar to those for the 3300 Series LatteGo. Both models feature the same easy-to-clean, two-part milk system that can be rinsed under running water or placed in the dishwasher for convenience. Here are the general cleaning steps:
      1. Daily Cleaning: After each use, separate the two parts of the LatteGo milk system and rinse them under running water or place them in the dishwasher.
      2. Weekly Cleaning: Clean the brew group by rinsing it under lukewarm water.
      3. Monthly Cleaning: Use a coffee oil remover tablet to clean the brew group and ensure optimal performance.
      4. Descaling: Follow the descaling instructions on the machine's user interface to keep your machine in top condition.
      If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.

    Is necesary to descaling if we have a aqua filter?

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  Месяц назад

      Hi Alex. Thank you for reaching out. Even though you’re using the AquaClean filter, you’ll still need to descale the device from time to time. The AquaClean filter will prevent most particles, but smaller particles can still build up, necessitating descaling. I hope this answers your questions. Feel free to reach out again if you need further assistance.

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  21 день назад

      Hi there, thanks for your question. :) It is normal for the drip tray of your Philips espresso machine to fill up with water quickly. Every time you turn your device ON and OFF, brew a cup of coffee or use the milk frother, the automatic rinsing water will run through the internal machine circuit into the drip tray to ensure optimum performance. Due to the rinsing function, you may always see some water inside the drip tray, or the drip tray might fill up quicker than expected.
      If there are also coffee grounds in the drip tray (not only in the coffee grounds container) and emptying the drip tray and coffee grounds container more often doesn't bring improvement, feel free to get in touch via one of the options mentioned on to.philips/6050vPtxe, so we can provide further assistance. Wishing you a nice rest of the week!

    Hi I just cleaned my coffee machine for the 1st time I had it for 1 months found ground coffee inside the machine where the water tank is. Is this normal

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  8 месяцев назад

      Hi, thanks for your comment. Finding coffee grounds in the water tank area of your 3300 LatteGo after cleaning can be surprising. It's important to ensure that the coffee grounds container and drip tray are emptied and cleaned regularly, as per the maintenance guidelines. Occasionally, during the brewing process, coffee grounds may escape the designated container due to the machine's operations and vibrations. However, this should not be a common occurrence. If you find that coffee grounds continue to appear in the water tank area, it may be advisable to check that all parts are correctly installed and that the coffee grounds container is being emptied when indicated by the machine. Regular maintenance is key to ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee machine. For further assistance and troubleshooting, please refer to the user manual or contact our customer service team for personalized guidance.

    • @PhilipsHomeLiving
      @PhilipsHomeLiving  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you for sharing your concern regarding the noise from your Latte Go machine. It's great to hear that you've already taken the initial steps by changing the water filter and cleaning the machine. Sometimes, noises can be caused by air bubbles in the system or a need for deeper internal cleaning. We suggest trying to run the machine with just water, without coffee, to see if the noise persists. If the issue continues, it would be beneficial for us to take a closer look. Please reach out to us again through this chat, and we'll assist you further. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we're here to ensure your Latte Go operates smoothly.

    This is a good tutorial but truly, this is exhausting just looking at all what is expected to be done. Truly overwhelming. This is way too much work and maintenance, and that’s only part of cleaning the machine. I can’t imagine the mold and other gross stuff hidden in it. Makes me dislike my machine, that’s for sure.

    Im sure 90% of the people believe this is all you have to do to clean it after use :D :D :D ... What about all them clogged pipes, kalcium deposits, and mold.
    Im sure philips sells some expensive accessories ;) like that teeny weeny small lubricants bottle.
    First we have to buy this apparatus for 500$ then an endless supply of spare parts.. Much cheaper to brew standard caffe or visit the local coffe shop, and better for the environment instead of having all these extra plastic expensive one time use supplies
