I say this every month but I just really enjoy your tbr game!! I’m so excited when this video pops up. I recommend Elizabeth Acevedo books on audio for sure if you have the option
Loved Psalm for Wild Built!! Such a good book! Hope you enjoy it as well! I was interested in Close to Okay a couple years ago so I’ll see what you have to say!
Love your Patreon picks. The Monk and Robot duology is gorgeous cosy sci-fi and With The Fire On High was a wonderful character driven novel - The audiobook was fantastic - Elizabeth Acevedo is such a great narrator, its my number one way to read her books for sure!
@BekahBooksandBujo hope you enjoy!! I've got Clap When You Land to get to this summer which is the one written in verse and I LOVED Family Lore last year so I'm slowly but surely getting through her works!!
If you get a chance this month, you should definitely read Above Ground. It was one of the best poetry collections I've read in a really long time. I think you will love it. With the Fire on High was also a great read. It's not written in verse, but it's definitely a quick read. Great video!
quite a variety your game gave you. I read In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware, had to look it up on Good Reads I gave it 5 stars so I guess I liked it, I read it a while back
Great video, Bekah! I think I might pick up this close to okay and with the fire on high too this month because they have been on my TBR forever and I need to read them lol!
A Woman is no Man was really good, but it made me so angry, and once you read it you’ll probably know why! I had no idea that Leave the World Behind was a book, but the movie was crazy!
LOVE A Psalm for the Wild-Built!!!
Can’t wait to finally try it!!
Your tbr game was nice to you this month! 🎉
Yes it was! Made me happy 😊
Wow that Leave the World Behind sounds like a plot to a book by Riley Sager.
Oh really?!
Frozen River is so good once you get around to it! One of my favorites of the year so far!
Everyone has said it's in their favorites!!

@@BekahBooksandBujo I read Clap when you land too and really liked it. Happy reading!
I love With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo. I can recommend the audiobooks enough because the author narrates them herself.

That BOTM that is your oldest is my oldest too. I just have not been drawn to it. I'll love to hear your thoughts!
We'll see what I think... Obviously I haven't wanted to pick it up in 4 years... 🤣 Don't have super high hopes, but we'll see!
I enjoyed With the Fire on High. I believe all of Elizabeth Acevedo's books are written in verse. -Emily
Fire on High is not in verse but is one of my favorites

I think you’ll love Clint Smith’s work when you get to it-have you read his non-fiction How the Word is Passed? It’s amazing. 🥰
Awesome! I still requested the collection from the library - hopefully I'll still have time to read it in June 😊
A Woman is no Man was really good, but it made me so angry, and once you read it you’ll probably know why! I had no idea that Leave the World Behind was a book, but the movie was crazy!
