I read The Duke and I, I read that after I saw the 1st Bridgerton, for I never heard of the books at the time, after I saw the show, I started the book series, before the other shows came out. Also read Just Mercy, after you read that book you should read The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hinton, it is mention in Just Mercy, a guy wrongly accused and is in jail for a long time until Bryan Stevenson takes his case. I listened to it, and it is narrated by the Anthony Ray Hinton, the guy who was wrongly accused, excellent book.

Absolutely agree! I usually prefer books over TV adaptations but this time I feel like the books are luke warm at best and seriously problematic at worst… But the show is so much fun!
