Side note: a courier dropped off your Deck of Many Quests literally an hour ago and holy balls its bloody amazing!! I was not expecting it to be as funny as it is - quite a number of the cards made me literally laugh out loud and I had to run off to show my partner. I always hear about the act 1,2,3 and as you said it seems very simple in theory, but I love how you described it and the examples you gave. I had like 20 ideas for my campaign just in this 10 minutes lol
